New dead hard is better than old

You know how many times there's a situation where a killer is chasing a survivor and is close to hitting them and there's a windows/pallet nearby, most of the time killer will succesfully hit the survivor Before they could drop the pallet (while dropping the pallet) and when the survivor is vaulting especially when the survivor is slow vaulting. Now with the new dead hard, survivor will be immune on those situtation and granted a free speedboost. The new dead hard also counters huntress, trickster, victor, plague because you can easily see their projectile and timed it and granted a speedboost. Also since the devs said DS is deactivated when the gate is powered because there's nothing the killer can do, it should be applied to off the record as well. Since survivors gets a fifth free meta perk slot borrowed time now

    No I don't think so as dh will have an animation and will most likely not be able to vault or drop a pallet during it.

    I believe DH will be fine. It will take more skill to time it to gain that 1 sec of endurance.

    Dead Hard is not buffed. There are quite a few types of scenarios it won’t protect you that the current version does. For instance, the current one can hop over Trapper Traps and dodge Deathslinger spears, and it can be used preemptively to get distance toward a vault to eliminate the possibility of a grab mid animation. Endurance doesn’t help against any of those. And in a lot of cases where Endurance does work it won’t really be any better than the current Dead Hard, such as hitting it when you are 1 second from a vault or pallet to guarantee you can’t get downed before you go through won’t work any differently from the current version if the killer doesn’t actively hit you.

    There are some possible situations where you’ll block an attack with Endurance and get a bit of extra distance from the speed boost, but overall I’m not seeing this perk as being buffed.
