Should Survivors be able to see what perks, addons, and items other survivors bring in?

Personally, I think this would be a great chance to help solo players and one that won't increase or help swf as they already know what perks, items, and addons their teammates are using. I don't see why this wasn't in the game a long time ago and can significantly help out solo players especially knowing what exactly your teammates are going for perk-wise.

For like I can see bill bringing in mostly healing-orientated perks realizing he wants to heal others as much as possible so if I see him I will make sure to go to him for healing and I can see Dwight bringing in prove thyself and other gen speed perks so if I see Dwight ill go help him out. Or the Adam with deliverance, so I know not to go for the unhook if I see him save someone and know he has deliverance so I don't waste any time going for the save etc.

While yeah there are some people who like keeping the information to a minimum, I don't think we should gatekeep how much information is given like yeah survivors knowing when the pallet breaking perk is in play is too much information, but I think just giving this amount is like exclusively just helps to make good decisions for solo players in general.

Sure there will still be survivors who don't even know half the perks and their uses and will try to heal the deliverance player, but the people who like to pay attention to that kind of stuff and know what their teammates have and will be focused on what is happening, this change will be very useful.

No survivors do not need that amount of information they already are given enough information.

No this isn't how solo survivors should be buffed. (State your reasoning as to why this wouldn't work or is not enough.)

At the start, and in the match details screen that you can bring up with the escape key, too.

That is the kind of communication SWF get for free that Solo should have. It'd be a great change.

One of the reasons I love going against solo players is that they are more creative and interesting, in my opinion.

I feel that everyone seeing each other's perks will have the inverse effect on diversity.

Many players think 'Maybe I should try this build out' at times and have sparks of interest that revolve around their own capricious thoughts.

Letting players see each other's builds will open them up to chastisement before the match, which may lead to longer survivor que times (Nobody wants to que up with the no-mither guy) while also unhealthily encouraging other players to create complimenting builds.

'Oh, you have CoH? Maybe I'll bring Botany Knowledge and we can have speedy heals!' 'Oh, you have Borrowed Time? I'll bring Sprint Burst and be aggressive off hook' 'You have Soul Guard? Okay, I'll take For The People'

In no-time flat, the perks with the best synergies in a team will crop up as the new meta, and survivor players will come to expect them. Which means 'I'll take Botany Knowledge to boost your CoH healing' is quickly going to turn into 'Why aren't you bringing Botany Knowledge, you can clearly see I have CoH!'

This will quickly create a survivor reinforced meta that will lead to longer cue times and more finger pointing and grumbling. Killers are going to get bored seeing the same items, map offerings, and perk builds even more so - and survivors are going to be verbally confronted based on their playstyles.

While SWF has this advantage, they have the incredible and implied benefit of all being WITH FRIENDS - which means they all share a mentality and a consensus when entering a match... a consensus that they can always betray through silence or deception. 'Do NOT bring No Mither!' 'Okay' (Loads into match) 'ARE YOU KIDDING ME??' 'Tehe'. This change ruins the fun of SWF builds while also enforcing the worst aspects on the community on both ends.

In truth, you would not see a massive shift in fun being had by solo players or successful escapes - as killers will just understand that every survivor team is going to perform efficiently and they will always bring a map offering. It's going to make the game less fun for everyone involved over the course of a few weeks.

    No dice, in my opinion.

I could be wrong but I think DbD Mobile lets survivors see what loadouts the other survivors have.

On a tangent I honestly think killers seeing survivors in the lobby is causing problems with backfills in matchmaking since there are a lot of killers who dodge lobbies based on “I hate playing TTVs” and “Four med kits? I’m out”, etc. Not to mention that silly thing that nearly every lobby has some survivors waiting until the very last second to swap loadouts or character skins or whatever just to “fool the killer”.

I’d have no problem if as a killer when I hit Find a Match it just eventually automatically sent me straight into a match when a match was ready to go if it eliminated a lot of the backfills and the dumb 60 second wait time in the campfire lobby.

i really do feel like killers shouldn't see the survivors items. they can adjust their perks on what they see and dodge. since this is allowed i 'm inclined to say that survivors should see each others perks too then so they can make the best combos to survive that match. i reall ydo think it will gives us more things to strategize as a team instead of 4 solo survivors doing their own thing... and basically being dead before you start. they need to reward team play more. they allow swf , they should start respecting the solo survivors more by giving them more tools to work together and bring them closer to a swf
