BHVR - Do you have any plans for Sadako?

Hey all, hope you're all having a good time in the fog!

Just a quick question that hopefully BHVR might be so kind to answer.

Do you have any plans on buffing Sadako in the works?

I'm sure you have read the suggestions regarding Sadako already, so I won't bring them up again.

Anyone other than BHVR please feel free to reply with what you believe needs to be changed regarding Sadako, or even if you think she's completely fine!

    Just as Nemesis and Pinhead Sadako will most likely receive changes in this upcoming midchapter. BHVR has a new trend to monitor the new killers for 1 chapter and then at the next midchapter they start adjusting them.

    Lets hope the devs will buff condemned and make it an ACTUAL mechanic cuz currently you can literally ignore it.

    Reduce the cooldown on TVs and reduce or remove the speed reduction on demanifest/manifest. That would buff her quite a bit. I get a lot of hits off of her passive phasing mindgames, but I lose too much distance setting it up at times. Also, having the chase music play when she's demanifested defeats the purpose of stealth

    +1 for Condemned changes. I've been playing her since release and have yet to use her special mori.

    So you're aware, Peanits has already confirmed that Sadako isn't receiving any changes in this upcoming midchapter as they had to prioritise the changes with the perks/base game mechanics, etc.

    As to my thoughts on what they could do to improve her - I think the main thing is making Condemned more of a threat in general, since currently it's very very difficult to make it a threat on survivors and they can remove it far easier than it is to apply. Whilst I don't think it should ever be getting kills frequently (much like Pig head traps), it does need to be more threatening.

    I also think her TV cooldowns are fairly high when she actively teleports through them, so reducing them would also be beneficial.

    I got only moried once with it but it was an accident, sadako randomly teleported to my tv I was about to go for and therefore chases me till I got condemned xD

    Didnt know that actually, thanks for letting me know. Well rip then for her, tbh though I dont really care cuz Sadako is such a generic and boring Killer I am better off playing Wraith, isnt much of a big difference there tbh.

    That's a shame that Sadako is not recieving any changes anytime soon but that's completely understandable with all the work they've put in with the changes coming.

    Yeah it sucks, I actually enjoy playing Sadako for some reason but sadly I feel very hopeless at times with her lol!

    To be fair, I think Sadako doesn't demand any power buff/nerf. She is fine the way she is, at least for me she works immaculately, virtually every single game I play with her. I didn't see any struggle with her, and my MMR is high, compared to standard.

    I think her "special mori" is quite peculiar, because I haven't had my hands on it either. I don't even take it as a part of kit any longer, because it doesn't feel that way anymore. To my mind, remodeling this thing could potentially make it ameliorate, but she is not a colossal problem for Dead by Daylight in this precise instant.

    Doing tapes should be more important and carrying a tape should be more dangerous.

    Survivors carrying a tape could probably use a bigger debuff while given the option of just leaving the tape on the ground somewhere if need be.

    However tapes left on the ground emit a Condemned AoE aura of however many meters that constantly builds condemned on anyone inside.

    Being downed while carrying a tape or being hit with Franklin's Demise makes you drop a tape.

    Tapes left on the ground and ignored have their Condemned AoE grow in size and intensity over time to prevent people from running them to the corners of the map and leaving them there.

    Their auras are also shown to the survivors.

    A Good Buff would be if Sadako is demanifested she canGI though Palets this would make her kinda better in a Loop

    Set up a TV next to each gen and protect the gen by Sadakos curse: it can only be worked with when the tape is removed, which then must be brought to the farthest away TV.

    Let Sadako see the condemnation progress of survivors, it feels so wrong to deprieve her of that information, while everyone else knows exactly whats going on.

    Reduce the condemnation drop-off from inserting the tape to 2 stacks, but maybe let them decay slowly.

    Reduce the TVs cooldown, after Sadako teleported to them, significantly or get rid of them entirely and let her freely move between all TVs that don't have their tape removed.

    There's a bit of a missmatch in her power and the way survivors negate it.

    Moving tapes is obviously meant as a counter to her power that acts as survivor slowdown, like Freddy's clocks, Pools of Devotion, Lament Configuration or to a lesser extent, Jigsaw boxes.

    The thing is, doing tapes prevents both forms of Sadako's power with no threat to the survivor, it removes condemnation AND it removes a teleport point.

    Carrying a tape should generate a lot more condemn stacks after holding it for a certain length of time, so that moving them has some actual risk.

    Also placing the tape in the destination TV shouldnt shut that TV off, that's the trade off for avoiding 7 stacks of condemned, you don't get to avoid a teleport.

    Consider Pinhead, solving the cube brings Pinhead to you. Imagine if instead solving the cube made you immune to chains or something? That's what Sadako has.

    Not sure if I'm just blessed, or something. I don't really attempt to master her, but yet I still always have 3k/4k with build Call of Brine, PGTWL, Eruption, BBQ. For addons, I don't run anything explicit, but it's ordinarily the addon that makes them have their tape to the generator that is furthermost away, and speed addon.
