Fire Up Base Kit Would Be Better Or Worse Than Upcoming Killer Changes

I've said it for a long time- fire up should be base kit (besides the picking up action being faster) because it's not gen rushing that's the problem, it's the animations that take so long. Would you guys prefer the 10% less m1 cooldown and 10% less survivor hit recovery speed and 10% less time to kick pallets or fire up base kit? A perk that is forgotten and most people don't even know what it is could be the time saver killers need, but not as a perk, as a base mechanic in killers

    I'd absolutely take what's being proposed in the blog over basekit fire up.

    The issue with fire up is not that it costs a perk slot, it's that its power scales inversely with its value.


    The faster hit recovery (2 STBFL stacks), half of a brutal strength (10% palette / wall / gen kicking speed) and reduced speed boost for survivors on injuries is going to be a subtle but significant change for the way chases play out - ESPECIALLY if you augment these bonuses with actual STBFL and actual Brutal Strength.


    Live - No Perks / Brutal Strength

    * Kick pallet, wall (2.6 seconds / 2.08 seconds )

    * Kick generator (2 seconds / 1.6 seconds )


    PTB - No Perks / Brutal Strength

    * Kick pallet, wall (2.34 / 1.87 seconds )

    * Kick generator (1.8 / 1.44 seconds )
