The circle of meta
All is going around meta and overused perks and the devs says „they know why the meta is meta and they will consider this“ but it seems they clearly don’t know.
On killer side they buffed a lot to reduce genspeed and endup chases faster (breaking all faster, basekit 2 staks of stbfl, reduce distance after a hit) and still slowdown perks on top, tunnling and camping are viable and even more annoying to hurt survivors. And the free ds escape in egc is switchted to a free noed-camp-tunnel-kill, even if the killer gets his first down with noed, it seems he deserves this kill 🤷🏼♂️ I don’t want to repeat, that in my opinion a better working mmr should be the solution for fairer matches, not nerfing everything to the ground. You can see on all streams that good killermains constantly get 3-4k without perks or addons or with memebuilds and if they loose a game they are wining cause of dh, ds, ub or coh. But imagine they do this 3-4k now without the upcoming changes, so what will happen after the changes?!!!
Could you and the devs imagine, that the survivors have to think „against what killer I will go this match?“? A survivor don’t know is it against a pig or a nurse, a myers or a blight, a iri-huntress, a facecamper, a tunnler or even a chilled fair killer, so it’s clear you bring a solide perkbuild and a item, that will give you a chance against the worst case!
The killer can check profiles (if not private), see items and look at survivors outfit and names.
The point is if both sides bring stuff on the same level (perks, addons, items) and have equal skill I think the game is nearly balanced. The issue is now if prepared survivors go against lower skilled killer or a low tier killer.
Could it not be a possible solution to lock the loadout on both sides when searching lobbies and consider these loadouts into matchmaking?
It‘s clear that a new meta is incoming cause survivors will furthermore try to be prepared for the strongest killer they will go against and killer will know that and will bring the strongest loadouts too… so here we go again.

There definitely won't be complex MMR system, as there is not enough players to back it up anyway.

I don't get what issue you are talking about even.
if the issue is power difference between killer roster, then it's more or less closer as all the m1 killers are much better at killing.

I‘m saying it’s not a surprise that people bring the same perks every match, because they don’t know how strong the other side will be. Would the matchmaking consider addons for example too, to find matches, games would be fairer and more balanced and player would be more open for meme builds, but now no one wants to run niche perks against a groupi-nurse. For example you would see no iron will, circle of healing or selfcare against a plague, fewer spinechill against a doctor or a trapper, no ds and bt when the killer will not tunnel.
