Ok this is just a comment I don't care what anyone else says about this Ok the penalty system it's getting out of hand I can't help that I have bad internet I read the thing saying the penalty is to help people chill out but I hate when I'm at the exit gate internet goes out log back into dbd bam 24h ban ######### seriously at that point it's most likely going to extend to weeks if so I'm just gonna quit I love the game but if the penalty system keeps ######### me I might as well quit nobody needs a WHOLE DAY to chill and I know it also wants you to know what will happen so you won't do it again for you from leaving in my case I can't help it I'm in an area where the internet is ######### but the max penalty needs to be 30mins over an hour it's too much cause I was in silver 4 I made it go down to silver 2 but when I lag out 5 ######### hours fix that ######### cause I have a passion for playing Dead by Daylight like bro why would I leave when I'm about to win

Once again do you realize you are ruining other people's matches by dcing in leaving them in a 3v1 or ending the game outright. It isn't fair for them for you to knowingly queue up knowing that you'll likely dc during the match. Also you keep complaining about you lagging out in the exit gates just leave???

I feel for your situattion, but if the penalties werent there ppl would willing DC even more than they do now. If possible, make sure to play on a wired connection and dont use anything else that eats up bandwidth.
Also, just a friendly heads up, if youre rackin up DC penalties that quickly at some point youre likely to get a permanent ban. So it might be worth either takin a break or playin at times when your ISP is most reliable.

To get banned for 24 hours you have to DC quite a lot. So it is not that your internet kicked you out once, you were kicked out on a regular basis and always tried again, despite knowing that you have bad internet. So punishment is well-deserved.
If you dont have decent internet, dont play Onlinegames. The other 4 players in your games dont care if you DC because of poor Internet or because you ragequit. The result for them is the same.

I dont remember the actual penalty/regression scale off hand, but im sure you can find it somewhere here.
I think a 24hr ban takes like 3-5 days to clear, but dont quote me on that.

At the very least until your internet issues are resolved.

I suggest that you keep playing single player games, rather than online multiplayers until you get a better internet. You're ruining the game not only for yourself, but for the other four players as well...
And seriously, don't use wifi if you play online. Use cable instead. Way more stable connection.

My internet dropped before, I didnt even get a timeout ban, know why? Because I don't DC and in order to get a 24 hour ban you had to DC often. Not once.

You should not play online games if you can't ensure a stable internet connection.
