Reasons to play new characters?
Currently, and in the upcoming huge update, unless I missed something, the only reasons to play as different characters are for Tomes and Rituals. (Escape as felix, for example).
Because of this, a person can tier every single killer and survivor while only having ever played as Dwight. I love role playing as each character with at least 1 of their unique perks, but that's fully reliant on the creativeness of the player to do.
Is there anything I'm not aware of that gives reasons to play as different characters rather than hoard bloodpoints on my favorite character and use those bloodpoints on everyone else? If not, I'd love to hear some brainstorms on the communities ideas, and why or why not they'd be happy with those changes.

Not with survivors, but each killer has a unique power.
Ice made suggestions on how to make each character actually have flavor, such as require each survivor to bring along at least 2 of their perks, maybe even make "capstone perks" which they get at 50 and only they can equip but are very strong.
No one liked it. Whatever. Guess the survivors will just be glorified skins.

I like the idea of getting a unique perk at some point, but I'd also be happy with if they had a slightly better 4th tier of their own perks. For example, the spirit with rancor will see the aura of the obsession .5 seconds longer.
I saw the argument on Reddit where making the survivors anything other than just skins would cause people to only play as whoever the strongest character is, which I strongly disagree with because killers are unique and that's not what happened with them, but I guess further research would be needed by Behavior to know for sure.
