This is what maps should look like now. The atmosphere was amazing.
I remember when maps looked like this in the good ol days of dbd. Gives me nostalgia. Taking a photo of a yt vid is really bad quality so I'll just give you guys the vid. You'll see the blurriness in the distance and that was the best effect that should of never been removed.
This video was recently given to me by a very friendly forum user willing to find this video for me. (I was looking for the blurred effect)

Holy crap I have never seen Tide without facial hair - he looks 20 yo.
DBD was 10x better with the mist because it allowed stealth to happen regularly. Unfortunately consoles can't handle it so they had to remove it.

Yes even with the dated graphics the atmosphere was so much better

Classic.

Consoles have advanced so much now. That's why it should be added back

This is a picture from a friend - apparently it was a 2016 bug that happened once. I think this is what DBD should look like when playing survivor and you are hurt :

Personally I'd rather not have the blur, it would get old fast.

I hope they never bring it back.

DBD still has Blur - although I turned it off.

It's not a bug. It's when everyone brought dark moonlight offerings. They make the game 10x darker
0 -
It does? Are you sure you're not playing on Nintendo switch

Incorrect. That's from a match where nobody used darkest moonlight. Everything was black and the killer's red light was just about the only illumination. Imagine walking around in near pitch black and that was the only light.
It was a bug from watching another survivor's perspective but they saw the game normally.

Sounds like the dredge fun

I do miss old Coldwind purely because it had such an atmosphere. but then the graphics of the updated (and new maps) are significantly better so I guess that compensates for it.
I think they did a really good job on the Haddonfield rework and GoJ is definitely a spooky map. However, Coldwind and Eyrie are far too bright and don't really feel like horror game maps, in my opinion.
Macmillan and Asylum look amazing, but I just wish they had given them more color (like the old Macmillan maps with their blue tinge) as they're so grey and monotone.
