State of Hellraiser license
Hi,
just wondering, does anyone know the state of the Hellraiser license?
Specifically, the likelihood of getting more Legendary Cenobite skins. I'm itching to get me some Butterball action!
Thanks!

I would like to see some more skins for Pinhead.

as i understand it bhvr originally got the rights to pinhead from park avenue entertainment, who lost the rights last december after a lawsuit from clive barker. i think this might be why pinhead's voicelines were gone for a while and were re-added with doug bradley after the licenseholder changed. maybe asking someone from bhvr directly could help though, i might be wrong

I would love female cenobite from Hellraiser II.

It would be nice for some clarification, but as it relates to licensing, doubt this is something that can be shared. Very happy to be proved wrong though!

They didn't lose the license completely, the ownership of the first hellraiser movie within the US is what they lost to clive, they still retain ownership of the first hellraiser internationally aswell as every other hellraiser movie.
It the same deal with a Nightmare on elm street between craven estate and new line cinema.
The voice lines were most likely gonna come regardless of Clive getting part of the license back or not.

Seeing Hellraiser is tangled in a copyright mess I wouldnt hold my breath for extra cosmetics, what if they release something, someone decides to sue or countersue and they get dragged into it? If I were BHVR I woulndt risk stirring the hornets nest.
