With the changes to the perks they announcedthe results so far seems to be gen regression is insane but survivors can also have 2-3 extra health states if they want so isn't the result of this just games that are going to take forever? That doesn't sound particularly fun for either side and I'm worried about it.

Yeah, it's a bit concerning. This has the potential to usher in a new meta that's somehow worse than the meta it's trying to kill. "Forever" builds and killers have been repeatedly nerfed every time they've sprung up in the past, so it's weird that they're adding 10 seconds to every gen and testing perks with those numbers. I don't understand why we have to trial run Forever gameplay every year.
And the same thing with stacked endurance. We already had old Mettle Of Man and it was one of the five worst survivor perks ever released from a balance perspective. Why are you releasing a free health state with Off The Record? You've literally already done this in the past with Mettle Of Man and had to nerf it within 3 months. "Oh I just have this free 80 second window to body block for the person in chase". It's a game breaker at high MMR in coordination. No reason for this to exist.
The patch concerns me because there should be some expectation that both sides have to actually play well to win. If you need 120+ second gens, you're AFK on killer. If a survivor needs another endurance proc on top of basekit BT to have 3 worthwhile chases, they should be googling what a pallet in DbD looks like or plug in their monitor. This patch has the risk of alienating a lot of the playerbase and making the meta even worse than before.

Yeah it's really concerning. Between base kit borrowed time, off the record, ds, and mettle of man, playing killer is going to be worse than ever before. What I really don't understand is DS is supposed to deactivate when the gates are powered to prevent a guaranteed escape, yet off the record isn't affected. I'm now not looking forward to this rework as much as I was initially.
