Devs don´t care on reports. Its a fact and i´m tired.
Hi, in the last 10 months i have reported around 3 or 4 people. After some days i receive the typical email saying "We have´t forgotten about you, xxxx, so it may take a little longer to get back to you. Well, i have never received and answer or something that tell me if my report was enough. I´m tired of pretending that it will work. I don't care if they shut down this post. i will expose every ######### hacker and trollmate that i may encounter on the forums. The only way a report can work is by reporting this people massively.

I reported a cheater other day and it got banned in idk 3 - 5 days later? Good.
Did you put video proof in your ticket? If not them dont even bother sending it

It is good that reporting does not work, many people would be banned without being cheaters, would be banned just for tunneling and hitting on hook

There's a strong chance what you are reporting is not reportable.
Survivor Mains in particularly need to get it through their thick skulls that CAMPING IS NOT REPORTABLE. Good lord, the number of times my end game chat was something like "reported for camping!" is enough to make my eyes roll all the way into the back of my skull.

It's the #1 reason reports are not addressed, by the developers own admission. There's a whole chart of things that they posted that read THESE THINGS ARE NOT REPORTABLE and people do it anyways.
Then they come on social media like "DEVS DON'T CARE ABOUT REPORTS!"

I think Reporting and Blocking could be much more efficient. The Block function at least IMO should allow you to block any and all players regardless of their platform. Yeah, I can see how the Report function might cause problems (I'm guilty of reporting entire teams out of anger) but the Block function should at least be an option. As of right now, Block is just as worthless as Report... it doesn't actually Block anyone from matching with you again.

Your first comment "specifically" calls out survivors for being "thick" for reporting camping, the same is entirely applicable to killers too.

It wasn't an EXCLUSIONARY statement, Jesus. At no point did I say Killers did not. But one is MUCH more common than the other. I've seen "reported for camping" a hundred times more often than "reported for looping". I think I've seen the latter like.... 3 times. Ever.

Well if you mostly play as killer what do you think you're going to see more? There are also 4x more survivors in a match than killer so yes you are also even more likely to see it.

It's not even whataboutism, the thread was about no side in particular. No one said anything about reporting killers for tunneling or camping, you just showed up ready to throw down implying this guy was a survivor main doing that because.. well, I don't really know why you implied that.
I guess, again, you showed up for a fight no one was participating in.

Because lots of people report things that are not reportable. Like I said in the first place. The guy that used an Emergency Medkit with Bite The Bullet behind a wall with Botany Knowledge is not a hacker. And a "trollmate", might just be playing weird cause he got stuck with a dumb challenge like "hide within 10 feet of the killer for 20 seconds while injured".
There are LOTS of reasons you may not be getting a quick response other than "devs don't care".
