After being unhooked, DS didn't even show? What was wrong?

In a The Doctor match, I was unhooked by a teammate(first stage). However, DS didn't even become illuminated in the right bottom corner of my screen. And The Doctor just kept toxically tunneling me. My level progression got reduced. What a ------- game!
