You guys realize "gen rushing" became a complaint more than ever after moris where reworked?

Just sayin. I never believe moris or keys needed a rework. The balanced eachother out and it was never very common for people to use moris and especially keys. But im mostly just talking about old moris. They were a good counter to gen rushing every once and a while because no one really used them constantly. They never hurt anything. They made you have a fast game (cause you died early) and probably de pip. No big deal. Go on to the next game.

Also I am a survivor main supporting old moris.

    Mori's needed a change. I think even the most Killer-sided player could see they were at least unhealth for the game.

    Were they nerfed too much? I am not going to comment on that. That conversation could go back and forth.

    Blessing totems was a nice idea to give Survivors a side-objective besides Gens. How it was presented and implemented with CoH and "snuffing" was poor though.

    I think that needs to be their real focus. Meaningful side objectives that in turn create more exciting gameplay.

    Old moris just were not fun and were boring. I am a fan of the finisher mori, however, as we will get to see moris more often at least

    The finisher Mori is the best solution to see the Mori Animations without it being imbalanced IMO.

    Because first Hook-Moris were just way too overpowered and then I personally did not care about the animation at all, since my game was over very quickly due to the Mori.

    @Topic:

    Yeah, because there cannot be any "Gen-Rushing" if you can get out a Survivor super-early because of the OP old Mori..

    I feel like the gen rush complaints came more to the forefront as hold w became more staple. Lots more time doing nothing else but holding w. No loops or mind games.

    But understandably became so, because more and more Anti loop killers were coming out. Anti loops killer who also had bad map pressure.

    I would make Mori as a surprise tool.

    Something like you can Mori a survivor after 5 Gen done. No hook required.

    That way Mori still strong but you cant use it by tunneling.

    Old moris were awful. Unless the killer was incompetent, they were a guaranteed win. Even ivory moris were bad because the first person downed would usually just get camped/tunneled off hook and moried, turning the game into an early 3v1. No offering, item, or add on should have that kind of power. And there definitely where people who used them every game. I was playing on switch before crossplay became a thing, and the community was small enough that you would run into people pretty often, especially in red ranks. There were certain killer players that ran them every single game.

    An anti-loop killer should have bad map pressure just to balance out things. I still think Freddy is underestimated and he has both. Blight has both and he's a nightmare to go against, he's an S-Tier Killer. Dredge has both and he's at least an A-Tier killer.

    I wouldnt say Dredge is A Tier, its far too map dependant
