Question about pain resonance on the PTB

Hoping anyone who has played the PTB could answer this question for me please. I can’t play it since I am on PlayStation.
Does the nerfed Pain resonance still kick the survivor off of the gen? I know you don’t get the notification anymore, but does it still blow up? I guess the real question I’m asking is, is pain resonance + dead man switch still a thing or does it not work anymore?

the scream was what knocked survs off
so DMS won't proc off it
