Rework Concept for Deathbound
This perk to me originally sounded better on paper, but was niche in application. I think I have an idea of how to give it a good and meaningful buff (to keep in the spirit of all the crazy perk changes coming to Dead by Daylight next patch).
Description: When a survivor is healed to 70% by another survivor, the healing survivor is faced with continuous skill checks. If they miss one or stop healing, the survivor being healed becomes broken and suffers from the hemorrhage status effect for 40/50/60 seconds.
If the heal is completed outside of the killer’s terror radius without failing a continuous skill check, the healing survivor screams, revealing their location. This survivor also suffers from the Oblivious status effect for 60 seconds unless they are within 8m of the healed survivor.
Deathbound only triggers once per survivor hook state in a trial (All survivors start the trial with the ability to be affected by Deathbound. If Deathbound is activated on the injured survivor once, that injured survivor must be hooked again in order for Deathbound to reactivate on said survivor).
Before you ask, yes my idea came from merging the concepts of Deathbound and Merciless Storm. This could also become a new perk of it’s own, but I think it would be more useful as a buff to a perk that is underused.

I don't think they would do that because of the unintended trolling potential. I actually like the perk, it's just spine chill on live exists the way it does. But it being changed is going to make it a bit better.

Yeah I echo what WeenieDog says here - having a harsh penalty on the survivor being HEALED because of the healer's mistakes is frustrating gameplay design that could be used to troll, and it doesn't feel great to be the survivor on the receiving end of that, because you're punished for someone else's mistake (more harshly than a missed skill check already is anyway).
