Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Possible exploit on bedham?

If the basement doesn’t spawn in the school, you can run a build featuring no mither and boil over and make it near impossible to get them to a hook in time from the lower levels of the school. It’s not super serious since I did just slug the two offenders repeatedly till they bled out, but by all means it wasn’t a fun match and I doubt the devs would like to encourage this type of gameplay. Maybe the school should have hook spawns inside the building if the basement is not there?

Also the group used a map and basement offering to ensure this happened so they definitely intended to exploit here.

A (preschool) basement hook spawn would be really smart - they've done similarly in a few other areas like that. Even kicking open one of the side doors isn't a sure bet that the distance from that midsection to the top level will allow for enough time to reach a hook.

That said, it's not really an exploit in the traditional sense. It's abusing flaws in the map design, but it's "intended"

Yeah, a hook spawn in the same place as the basement entrance in the school would be a smart idea.

Right it just needs one good indoor hook spot I think. I wanted to make sure that’s emphasized. The perks aren’t the problem just hook placement in that specific scenario on that specific map.
