Legion needs a real rework(This discussion isn't about his being weak or strong please keep it mind)
I'm not saying he is strong or weak I don't even care about it. I just don't want to play a match that takes forever. If survivors aren't doing good and killer(legion) is winning it takes forever no matter what. You just keep playing until there are no pallets left in the game. Legion doesn't even chase you properly due to his power design.
Let's think about other killers. Do other killers winning makes matches take so much time or does it make it faster? When a nurse is really good. She can even end game in 5 minutes. Lets pick a weaker killer. When a trapper manages to use his traps efficiently does the game slows or makes it faster? It is simple as it is. When you use your power the game should end more easily what legion does is keeping survivor in game that's all. When a match takes a long time it normally means things are going competitive like it is even. So, why the hell İs legions power has to make it look like he is struggling even though he is easily winning? I think it is just waste of time for all other players. I think that legion's ability itself should change considering the fun part.
As a solo survivor normally being punished by other teammates faults annoys me and now that game is takes so much more time playing against legion it becomes a nightmare.

According to one of the devs they wont rework it basically becuz you dont like the gamestyle they wont change it for those who like it.

I'm not talking about countering him. His power is just so stupid that you would have to play forever to end a match if he is doing a good job.

If it takes forever to end, then you are just doing a bad job. You can prevent him from chaining frenzy, just do that. If you manage to stop his chain, he has to commit on you, then you have your normal chase.

who does like to run from one side to another again again to hit survivors for 5 seconds of chase and do that thousand times in a match? That's not even a chase he just comes like a relative of yours who was passing by and came by to you for 5 mins. He comes and goes you don't do gen he doesn't get hooks quickly because he comes and goes all the time.

That's exactly what I am saying dude. You are not understanding. What if you are doing a bad job as a survivor? THEN IT TAKES FOREVER. it is a team game not solo so, there is no way for you to make game take less time or make it win by yourself

I like power to easily injure survivors. He is also great for 3-gen defense. I can get build on him that allow me to ingore gens on just focus on chase.

There are killers with slowdown powers -> Deathslinger, Pinhead, Pig. Plague can work too.
Legion just doesn't have chase / lethal power as any other killer. That makes him interesting for me.

I dunno I feel there’s a way to keep their design of a rapid slashing to injure intact without turning the game into a slugging match. Like why have the deep wound part at all? I feel if that was made something else, Legion would both be stronger and more fun to go up against.
Fact is against newer/weaker players, Legion is very oppressive. They get three or four easy hits and lots of mending and time wasted. Against veterans however, Legion is laughably weak. Splitting up, playing cautiously during the frenzy and not mending until they are sure it’s over, taking full advantage of the fact Legion has no way to down people with their power so relies 100% on m1 which on some maps is near impossible or at best extremely time consuming. Unlike other m1 killers they get no assistance at all, no traps, no cloak, no stealth lunge, no bottles, nothing.
I think if Feral Frenzy did something else or it’s slashes built up charges to do something that would give them a better chance against veterans instead of deep wound almost everyone would be happier.

mending needs a tweak for sure but let legion alone jeeez ..legion got reworked so many times already, hes fine now.
the purple blade addon for sure have to go ....that addons works like a free extra slowdown.

It's what makes his power slowdown, he would suck without it. Main counterplay is stay injured already.

Sure but it sucks. It does nothing to progress the game, it just slows it down in a way that’s unhealthy and boring which is why Legion is so despised despite being terrible against better players. Obviously they would suck if it was removed without compensation. The compensation whatever it would be whether charges of some kind or another effect should be better then deep wound.

Then that's not Legion's fault but your teammates as a whole. I have had game against Legion that took forever not because of him because survivors were hiding most of the match and not doing gens. Even when I would loop a Legion for what should be 3 gens but only 1 gets done because my team are chickens.

Agreed.
Legion's fundamental flaws are still there. He is still one of the least enjoyable experiences in DBD.

Nobody is arguing here that Legion are OP or can’t be countered. They’re arguing that Legion are incredibly boring and unfun to play against, which is 100% correct

So is wraith tho. Both weak but both easy to use. I feel that is the only reason for the high pick rate.
I don’t disagree with u tho. The devs shouldn’t rework him because he is boring, but I do think he need some retooling. I barely ever see any legions and when I do they get stomped. It’s a travesty

You have every right to dislike going against Legion but that's not a reason to delete a killer a lot of people are enjoying.
Some people like the macro playing the long game orriented playstyle
If everyone is decent Legion matches also ensure everybody has a lot of bloodpoints and time to actually play the game.
I don't understand why people are so inclined to have matches that are shorter then their queue time

Win or lose I always end up with a lot of BP when playing against Legion.
I find playing as Legion fun running around going stabby stabby and vaulting pallets. I generally play as Frank if I want to pip, Susie to farm, Julie very occasionally if I'm undecided what to do and then there's some other guy but even the other members of Legion forgot his name.

Never Sleep Pills and the Movement speed per stab add-on makes it impossible to not get stabbed on almost any map.

Poor Joey. He does have his fans like me but he does seem to be the least popular. Probably doesn’t help he’s the least developed. Doesn’t even have a last name unlike the other three.

I think you forget that next patch Gen will be increased to 90sec, with "stay in injured" Thana increase each Gen up to 115Gen. That is 175 more second than the old base Gen (80x5 = 400sec vs 115x5 = 575sec)
And that 575sec is not yet counted all the mending time that survivors have to go through, thats what they mean "Forever Legion". At least with Plague you dont have to mend.
And final, thats only Thana as slowdown. Image another 3 slowdowns.

if survivors just sat on gens and never healed then legion would have nothing to make the game take longer i think the real problem are thana legions those ones do make it take longer but basekit legion is fine.

Legion is already weak, the thanatophobia and gifts of pain are good and made him better, legion deserved the buff, pyramid and trickster need to be the next along with doctor

If your match is taking forever, and your teammates are playing terrible/doing nothing then just get hooked and leave. I personally love new Legion and don't think they should be touched for a very long time.

Legion's fine as they are. If you can't counterplay a legion then that's a you issue. if you know it is a legion, try to be as far away from other survivors as possible so he won't get power stacks

Legion is so much better than he was before, back the mending was forever if he had the knife add ons that increase mending, be grateful for what wehave now. He's a strong killer too, if you don't want the game to last long when playing a game against him, then just let him kill you.

I'm a survivor. I cannot prevent Legion sprinting off unless I have Bond + Open Handed and run to the corner opposite of everyone else before getting hit.

you don't really have to commit, you can run away, hope to find someone, but I usually just stop frenzy when I don't have killer insinct on anyone

I’m gonna blow your mind: Your subjective standard of you and others considering Legion as not fun does not trump the also subjective standard of others that find it fun. Fun fact, when there are no balance or design problems, there is no reason to change it when that screws over the players that enjoy it. Your personal unfun is not relevant to balance.

It was funny seeing people freaking out when BHVR announced the Legion buff to be actually rewarding to use their power. You would see people left and right saying "instadown on a killer that is way too fast is op!" But nobody took into account the ABSURD amount of effort you need to put into getting the 5th hit, they just looked at the instadown mechanic. One more reason why Legion is still bottom C tier.
I'm gonna stick to my guns on what I said once on Reddit and say the best thing for Legion and what actually fits their whole design would be for them to be able to somehow summon other Legion members to pursue survivors but have a mechanic of their own, an AI controlling them (hopefully not those Zombie AI's that STILL KEEP GETTING STUCK EVERYWHERE) to fit their theme of "a team of agile stabby stabby teenagers". Because in the game right now you are ONE stabby stabby teenager and you are WEAK.

That's right but this needs to be changed because in such a game solo queue suffers from it. Legion players' enjoying it doesn't change the fact that MMR is sucks and you'll lose games again and again due to your teammates. His power should slow down in another way considering this game doesn't have any communication

No, Legion is fine the way it is.
Your perspective is solely based on the survivor role.
You don't play killer, you don't play Legion, that's why you think Legion is strong.
I'm Main Legion, and I know Legion is average.
I also play surviving and against legion, I don't heal myself, I do the generators or I hide as much as possible, I try mind games with the lockers, even if it's risky against him.
You are just a mourner.

Legion is both incredibly boring to play as and against. It's a killer that's designed around hitting and running, so no one's getting a proper chase.

Me considering something from a perspective doesn't change the fact ( talking on survivor side) I do play killer and I'm asking a change that can make each side happy I'm not saying he should be nerfed Legion fan boys
