How many slowdown perks in your favorite loadout do you think you'll run after midchapter?
Among the upcoming major game changes is that generators now take 10 seconds longer to complete. That, combined with shortened stuns and buffs to a bunch of lesser used perks, in principle can help make loadouts that run no slowdown feel a bit more effective.
So out of curiosity, thinking about what you suspect your favorite killer loadout might be once the changes go live, how many gen slowdown perks do you think it will have?
Since there might be some ambiguity about what a "gen slowdown" perk is, they're perks whose primary purpose is to regress, slow repairs on or block generators. Specifically:
- Call of Brine
- Corrupt Intervention
- Dead Man's Switch
- Deadlock
- Dying Light
- Eruption
- Grim Embrace
- Hex: Pentimento
- Hex: Ruin
- Jolt
- Mericiless Storm
- Oppression
- Overcharge
- Pop Goes the Weasel
- Scourge Hook: Gift of Pain
- Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance
- Thanatophobia
(Note: I didn't include healing slowdown perks, this is just for gen slowdown. I also didn't include Thrilling Tremors since even though it does block gens a bit it's primary purpose is probably generally considered tracking.)
Also feel free to describe what you think your favorite loadout will be after the patch and what you like about it. 🙂

No gen slowdown perks in my favorite loadout after the patch
None but I don’t play to win. If I’m playing Trapper or something else that doesn’t down immediately I might run new corrupt.
I think Brutal Strength + Surveillance may count as slowdown next patch considering that you get a 2.5% progress loss on kick meaning if survivors immediately touch a gen after you kick it, it’ll likely regress quite a lot. Especially with overcharge but that one is mentioned.

Not that the 2.5% regression per kick isn't appreciated by me as a killer main, but honestly that combo wouldn't count as "gen regression" since it's doing at most, what, 2.25 seconds per kick? On its own that's barely going to register, you'd have to kick a gen 6-7 times to get the same amount of regression you'd get from one Pain Resonance hook for instance. And while the idea of "Oooh, a survivor will stop this and I can kick it again" is appealing, you're simply not likely to get multiple kicks in a row at a single generator. After the first kick, maybe the second, the survivor will easily see what's happening and just stop stabilizing it while you're nearby.
Now that's not to say I'm not a fan of the "break every gen" loadout, that's tons of fun! Pop + Eruption + Dragon's Grip + Overcharge is looking to be a loadout I'd love to use! And yeah, the 2.25 extra seconds per kick adds to that a little. But really it's those perks that are doing the lifting, the base kit 2.25 is just there for moral support.

2 gen slowdown perks in my favorite loadout after the patch
I love using Call Of Brine and Pain Resonance. Even though Pain Resonance got nerfed, it's still a solid gen slowdown perk.

I always play with Corrupt and Deadlock.
The remaining 2 perks depends on the Killer, but also almost always BBQ for the BP, but not anymore I guess. Thanks BHVR.

I've never run a build that's 4 blocker perks, I'll have to try that some time. Deadlock, Dead Man's Switch, Grim Embrace and Merciless Storm would be pretty funny! 😄

Depends on the killer. I don't like running a ton of slowdown on the stronger killers but on the weaker killers I will sometimes depending on my mood.
I'll pretty much never use Ruin anymore though and idk if I'll still run Pop at all or not. I think the pop nerf is fair but I just don't really like running perks that require me to kick gens on most killers so I already don't use it that much.

I'll probably run 2 slowdown Perks or 1 Generator slowdown Perk and No Way Out for end-game

4 gen slowdown perks in my favorite loadout after the patch
Don't see why I would anything other than slow down still, most all the other killer perk changes are still overall bad perks. Dark Devotion, Coulrophobia ect, literal memes. Those aren't actually winning you games, they needed more.
Now if I'm on an M1 killer sure I'll throw a STBFL or Bamboozle on, but that's about it.

3 gen slowdown perks in my favorite loadout after the patch
I like having slowdown perks, as they allow the game to last longer, which means more fun potential. And not having to patrol gens as much as usual also allows the killer to be in interesting chases for longer.

3 gen slowdown perks in my favorite loadout after the patch
The only gen slowdown perks that have been hit hard were Ruin, Pop and Dead Man's Switch. The rest is pretty much the same if not better.
My loadout for most games from now on will be Corrupt, Call of Brine, Overcharge and Franklin's.
