Killer Concept - Carrie White / The Pariah (Carrie)

Hello! I'd like to first say this is a very rough concept I came up with, and most of the numbers and flavor text are more or less just filler that sounded "right" as a proof of concept.

I imagined Carrie as a killer who takes events that are normally demoralizing to the killer and ultimately flips them on their head, using them to become stronger and turn the game in her favor. I think this fits very well with her lore, and could make for an interesting and challenging gameplay experience for both sides.

The Pariah

Difficulty: Very Hard

A lonely, mistreated girl with a wicked rage burning beneath, The Pariah uses her enemies own cruelty against them to devastating results.

Speed: 4.6m/s

Terror Radius: 32m

Height: Average

Head: Prom Queen's Crown / Bloodied Crown

Torso: Prom Night Dress / Drenched Dress

Weapon: Kitchen Knife / Gory Knife

POWER: The Devil Comes

Gameplay Mechanic: Humiliation

You start the trial at 0% Humiliation

Gain a passive 10% Humiliation per minute spent in the trial

Every time any survivor stuns you, blinds you, takes a protection hit, finishes a healing action, finishes an unhooking action, finishes a generator, or cleanses a Hex Totem, gain 20% Humiliation

When you are in chase for 60 seconds, gain 15% Humiliation

When you lose a chase that lasts for 30 seconds or longer without removing a Health State, gain 15% Humiliation

When Humiliation reaches 100%, gain a 25% speed bonus to destroying pallets, destroying breakable walls, breaking generators, and vault speed

Every time Humiliation reaches 120/140/160/180%, all thrown pallets and breakable walls in a short radius are destroyed, all vault locations are blocked for 16s

Upon reaching 200% Humiliation, all generators explode and regress at 100% speed/both exits are blocked by for 45s, all survivors suffer from the Exposed status effect, and you automatically kill the first survivor downed by your hand. Humiliation regresses to 120% after killing a survivor by your hand, and all existing effects are cancelled.

PERKS:

Outcast:

"You're tired of being the butt of someone's joke, it's time to make sure they're punished.

When a survivor escapes your grasp through any means, all survivors in a 8/12/16 meter range are revealed by Killer Instinct and suffer from the Exposed and Exhausted status effects for 10/15/20 seconds

"They're gonna laugh at you, they're all gonna laugh at you!" - Margaret White"

Breaking Point:

"When faced with torment, you feel a deeper power growing inside you, waiting to burst.

Every time you are stunned or blinded by any means gain a Token. Every time a survivor escapes your grasp by stun, gain 2 Tokens. The next time you damage a generator, all Tokens are consumed. One Token grants an additional 6/8/10% regression progress to the generator.

"Jesus, Carrie! Relax, calm down, listen to me!" - Miss Collins"

Hex: The Devil Has Come Home

"A powerful Hex fueled by deep rage and sorrow. You will punish those who torment and humiliate you, with or without forgiveness from the Lord.

Every time you are stunned or blinded by any means, this Hex gains two Tokens. Every time you destroy a pallet or breakable wall, this Hex gains one Token.

2 Tokens: Bloodlust I, II, and III gain a 5/10/15% movement speed bonus.

4 Tokens: Every survivor injured by a Basic Attack suffers from the Mangled status effect, and Exhausted status effect for 5/10/15 seconds. Hex status will be revealed to the survivor upon contact.

6 Tokens: Upon successfully putting a survivor into the Dying State with a Basic Attack, all generators in the trial will instantly explode, losing 15% progress, and regress at 10/15/20% of the normal regression speed. Hex status will be revealed to all survivors.

9 Tokens: The Hex aura will reveal itself to all survivors within a 14/10/8 meter range

10 Tokens: All survivors suffer from the Exhausted and Exposed status effects for the remainder of the trial, and the Hex Totem will be blocked by the entity.

"Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name..." - Carrie White"

I’d love to see a chapter from Stephen King one way or another. 🙂

Give her Freddy's teachable perks and you have an overwhelming killer who can catch survivors with little effort. Imagine going to Midwich Elementary and meeting her around a corner.

I did forget to put that humiliation 100's buffs wouldn't stack with other speed perks, which would probably be necessary. I think you're somewhat overstating how strong she'd be even if it stacked though, it would take at least half of a standard game just for her to have any power at all, and assuming survivors know how to play around her you could easily get to 2 gens or less before she even managed to use it.
