Is Deathslinger worth it?

So, I personally really like the overall design of his character and power, and so I think he'd be really fun for me. However, I also like to be a lil careful with my spending in this game, plus I've got some other killer choices in mind, so I'm mostly just curious as to how he holds up against the rest of them.

Again, ty in advance!

It's difficult to say without knowing what you want in a killer and what your other potential killers choices in mind are.

Deathslinger can be very fun though, regardless, whilst he's trickier to use than he used to be due to the ADS nerf/terror radius being 32m, you can get some really interesting and dynamic shots once you've practiced him enough due to the small projectile of his spear.

If any of your killers in mind are licensed, I'd generally say pay for them first before paying for an unlicensed killer, since you can earn iridescent shards to pay for an original character like Deathslinger.

When I go for killers, I go for how much of their power is skill based. Slinger has that in a way, you can get some pretty insane shots through small opening for a hit, that part of him is fun. Personally, I don't play with him very often, I just don't find him engaging for me. Of course, everyone has their own taste.

personally i've found deathslinger is very fun to play, even if he's a bit weak. probably my favorite ranged killer, huntress and trickster are fun but getting shots with slinger is much more satisfying imo, and he's a lot better at keeping people injured.
