not able to break stealth vs ghostface

so I have come up against a few Ghostfaces over the past week and I can't seem to break their stealth with any level of reliability. I see there is a post about this from back during his release but this is how long since then and it is still an issue. he will be right there I will be looking right at him as he stalks me while in chase and exposes me and he won't break his stealth, then he will be half way across the map and I will break his stealth without LoS. they aren't even being sneaky about this anymore, they just open stalk you and expose you and there is nothing you can do if you can't break LoS with them.
