When does the prestige update hit live servers?
Title. I'm just curious as when I should prestige/who given I have a lot of event/perma-retired items and offerings now. I heard rumors it will be this Tuesday, is that true?
Or is it all speculation? Thanks.

The PTB went live on the 30th of June. Updates typically hit live 4 weeks after PTB. That should be around the 27th of this month. That's just an estimate though.

Will we get a warning?
I want to keep using my flans for as long as possible before making them p1 so I can get tier 3 perks but it’ll suck if there’s an unexpected update.

It’s usually 3 weeks but could if course be 4 as well.
I would suggest to not prestige at that point as to not lose offerings/items/addons etc.
based on your unlocked perks you might even hit p3 regardless!

I made it up.
But the unofficial answer is, PTB usually comes 3 weeks before live servers unless otherwise specified, and this has held true for the last few patches too.
6.0.0 PTB/Release: May 17/June 7. 3 weeks.
5.7.0 PTB/Release: April 5/April 27. 3 weeks.
5.6.0 PTB/Release: Feb 15/March 8. 3 weeks.
So we're holding our hopes high for it next week, unless there's more changes they want to make. They said they would change perks after release too, so I'm sure they'll just push it out and then make changes later rather than to wait another week.

There's the chance it gets delayed for another week because the prestige system is something they shouldn't wanna screw up. The prestige system also isn't something they can fix after the update goes live without reverting everyone's progress. Perks they can easily change afterward though. It's likely the biggest update they've done so I'm hoping they try to get as much right as they can before releasing it

Definitely. I personally think they should give prestiges not only based on your current Prestige level, but also for BP spent. Ditch the "amount of perks owned" requirement, and simply make it so you gain 1 extra prestige level per 2m BP spent. That would be fair to long term players with hundreds of millions of bloodpoints spent on a killer.

Hopefully the 19th if not it's the Tuesday after. I'm ready for a bounty of perks to flood the pages of all my survivors and Killers.
