How Often Do You Find Survivors Just Looking Around?
I keep finding myself doing the silliest jukes and successfully hiding when I absolutely shouldn't have gotten away with it at all. Many times I'd be standing right in the sightline of the killer if only they turned 90 degrees after walking past an obstacle.
I can't even count the amount of times I've just prayed the killer would keep looking straight ahead and not look at the doorway they just came from. Also I'm also finding that the ol 'Stand just past the doorway and walk past the killer as they come in' tactic works like 80% of the time. I've noticed that sometimes standing completely still has a weird chance of having the killer just not see me at all even when I'm in their red stain.
To killers who like to look around like they're competing to become a Beyblade, how often do you turn around to just see a Survivor awkwardly staring back at you? When I'm playing Killer I'm starting to wonder how many survivors that I've missed easy hits on because I just wasn't looking left to right like I was persistently crossing a road.

The killer’s fov is rough sometimes. I know as survivor I have gotten away with stupid stuff. I’m sure as killer I’ve missed hundreds at this point.
I have caught more survivors pretending to perform fellatio than I care to count. Seems to happen a lot as Myers.

Bro, there was this game where I went against a Bill swf on Lery's, and if it were not for his constant moaning, I would have walked past them at least a dozen times. They probably thought I was hacking, but he is just that loud. Coming from someone who CANNOT play Spirit, by the way. I might be partially deaf, but Bill makes it all better. I wish all survivors were Bill.
Anyways, I guess my answer is "never, unless they are Bill, then always."

Killers are like fish, they are atracted to movement, sometimes standing still while crouching is the best way to avoid them.
