Please help me figure out the new prestige system.
Guys im very confused. What should I do to unlock tier 3 perks from all my characters? Right now I leveled them to 40 lvl so my every killer has unlocked teachable perks. Will this transfer these perks to different characters when the uptade come live?
Or do I have to prestige 1 all these killers?

So If I understand that correctly 70+ tier perks mean I need for example around 24 purple perks on a character since 24*tier3 = 72?

If you keep your characters at level 40, having unlocked their teachables, their perks will indeed unlock on everyone at Tier 1.
If you want those perks to be automatically unlocked for everyone at Tier 3 on update and you don't have at least 170 perk tiers on those characters - you'd need to get them at least to prestige 1 before the update drops. That way, their prestige 1 will translate to prestige 3.
Though I do not recommend prestiging pre-update, if you already have some offerings/items you value.

As far as I know unlocking the teachables before the update counts as if you had reached P1 after the update, you will have those perks on tier 1 on the other characters.
But, if you still have time before the update it might be worth to level the Killers whose perks you like to 50 and prestige them, because your P1 before the update will count as P3 after the update so you will have the perks unlocked on tier 3 on all the other characters. (You will lose your addons though)
That's how I understood the new system, no guarantee though.

To be honest items and offerings do not matter for me, i dont have any event unique things. In that case I assume its more efficient to do that plus 1 extra prestige right now I guess?

Yes but you need to have 170 before the mid chapter to be p3 and get the tier 3 perks, you only get 2 prestige levels per level you already have BEFORE the update.

Yeah, thats what confusing me. I've heard that getting lvl 40 and unlocking teachables will basically grant me tier 3 perks on all other killers. I have to make a decision to either buy a new killer get him to level 40, or just p1 all other that i have. Sad thing I must choose one or another and I dont know how much time do I have before update

I'm 99% sure that unlocking the teachable will only give you the perk on tier 1 on the other characters (see the quote I added to the other asnwer, it is from the PTB Patch Notes), to unlock the perks on tier 3 on the other characters you need to either reach P1 or unlock 170 perk tiers.

very helpful, kinda ignores addons on killer side in its considerations tho. also each page of purple perks is 45 perk tiers, for quicker counting.
Also can we get any of these threads sticky'd? maybe this one because its so nicely formatted?
