Dudes, I have main surv for several days, and I won't go back to killer side any more.

I can't believe how it's relaxing, easy and kind of boring.

If you know where to find the building, the windows, and the pallets. Most of the killers are free-win for surv, including clown, doctor, Freddy, etc. There are plenty of pallets and windows on each map, at least 15 for each map, just being chased and dropping every pallet you see, then you will easily 4 escape. I even didn't take DH. And my surv rank is even already higher than the killer rank. Now I understand why those people do teabag or bully, cause surv game is such easy.

Now I feel the killer game experience is just a piece of xxxx, I won't back anymore.

Lack of variety and challenge is boring but if you are enjoying the game, go for it

Sometimes, you dont even meet killer at all, which is funny during my survival matches. Hahaha

This makes me miss low mmr survivor matches. Oh it won't be relaxing once you get nurse and legion every other game. So enjoy it while it lasts friend.

Funnily enough, I find killer boring and survivor to be the more fun and engaging role.

When I spawn into the map as killer, I already know where the survivors are most likely to spawn and can get in chases easily from the start of the match. And because I main survivor, I know most of the routes and mind games they'll try and typically don't fall for them.

It feels like I'm playing tag with a bunch of 8 year olds I know I'm going to catch, but every now and then, I find one that's a little better at running than the rest. I go into every match knowing that if I play seriously, I'm going to come out with a win every time (my winning conditions are not a 4k)

On survivor, I actually feel challenged to better my mind games, find the most efficient routes, out play the killer's power depending on the killer, and see how long I can run the killer and buy time for my teammates to hopefully not be useless. To me, that's more fun and engaging personally

Same. Now it's just the same annoying types of killers. Legion because they are masters of slowing the game down in an utterly boring way (mending) and nurse/blight with full meta and broken addons. I wan't variety not stale gameplay. Maybe the changes are making things more spicy.

Exactly... It is kind of boring. That is why you will not catch me eating those queue times just to "interface" with a gen for half the game. I play what is fun. And to that end, I would not say I BM the killer BECAUSE it is easy so much as because it is boring. I usually feel bad and let them kill me regardless so that they can get pay back for me being a little brat and get at least one kill.

I've played both a decent amount but I like killer more honest. It's nice that there's so much variety in their playstyles, it's fun to learn a new power, and it's cool that there are so many unique builds that can work on a killer. Plus, it's not that stressful if you stop caring about kills and escapes and simply play for the chase.

If you want a challenge, you can always try making it to Division 7 Arena on old gen, standard controller to only be placed against Division 8, 240 FPS PC MKB players. Killer mains on this forum try to frame the role as impossibly difficult when it is, in fact, pretty easy when considering what multiplayer games are meant to require of the player.

Killer is becoming increasingly dumbed-down. Legion gets a yellow add-on that doubles his power and provides 20s wall hacks, Artist can shut down any loop with no skill involved, Nurse's double range add-ons, etc. If Dredge is facing four console players, Nightfall is free downs considered you can't navigate the map because it's too dark. It's not hard to come up with a build on every single killer to ensure a 80-90% win rate. If it were, there wouldn't be so many streamers on 50-, 100-, and 200-game win streaks.

In addition to four perk slots, killers now have 2 stacks of STBFL, Tier 1 Brutal, more than 2 stacks of Thana guaranteed, a buff to Bloodlust as a last-ditch, final crutch, and a nerf to survivor speed boost after injury. You'll still be complaining about Sprint Burst, 99 exit gates, and how Blood Warden is not base kit.

I find killer is more fun since I can get in a flow state while playing a high mobility killer like Blight, there isn't too much break in the action so I feel more engaged by always being on the move the entire trial and able to come back from most minor mistakes. Survivor is generally more relaxing for me but less fun since it's very stop and start when i go from doing gens to being chased to waiting to get a unhook/stun or on the hook.

"It's not hard to come up with a build on every single killer to ensure a 80-90% win rate"

Oh wow! Top rated killer detected. Teach me how plz!

Not to doubt your statement but its one hell of a statement that needs some data showing to back up. The dev said themselves kill rate is lower than expected.

SupaAlf (post-MMR 200-game win streak on Nurse), Pro Vengeance (post-MMR 50- and 100-game win streaks on supposedly low-tier killers), Otz, plenty of examples.

I'm not a top-rated killer, I'm pretty average and don't sweat. But if you have game sense, experience, a bit of skill, strong builds, and play to win, you can get this win rate very easily.

I don't know if all these killer add-ons and powers are OP, but they don't require skillful interactions and it gets tiresome hearing from killer mains how hard the role is, etc.

Unless you're someone that is obsessed with winning all the time, survivor is way more chill than killer, even at higher level. Yeah, killers get sweatier as you go up, but so do the surv teams, and proportionally.

I play killer/surv at around a 50/50, and which one I play often varies on my mood. If I am already stressed, I will avoid killer, and play surv.

That's not to say surv is way easier than killer (well, it is a bit easier), but def way less stressful, as there is actually downtime as a surv.

The only way you're going to maintain a 80-90% win rate in the current meta (if you use the common definition of a 4k or 3K + hatch) is if you use a sweaty build and employ a playstyle that is...not popular with survs (basically tunnel someone out as soon as you can).

And in the MMR age those 50+ win streaks don't really happen much anymore, at least not with any frequency.

I had an 80% kill rate in the current meta but I was pretty much face camping for 50 games straight. I did it to prove to a friend that 1-step camping is rewarding, even though he said it wasn't.

For me it's the opposite. When i play surv it's mostly solo and that is just horrible to play sometimes, especially against better killers who know how to play killer.

But killer? i nearly always have a good time. Sure, there are those matches were everything is in survivors favour, they bring the best possible loadout and have good setups on a good map. But most of my killer games i win or have at least 7-8 hook stages. Tunneling and proxy-camping helps a lot, only well-coordinated teams can deal with that. Most survivors refuse to learn how to deal with that and complain about it. But yeah honestly tunneling feels rather strong and the only time it doesn't work for me is when they have DS+DH or a god loopers.

Post mmr Pro has a higher winstreak and plenty of world records actually. Pre mmr he also has a higher winstreak than the one you are saying he has. I honestly think Pro is the best killer currently, his winstreaks are great.

It's not exactly news. The survivor side is way more chill than the killer's.

I wouldn't call it boring (even if it's quite tempting) but unless the survivor is always in a chase, the action is mostly QTE (a.k.a "skill checks").

It's probably why streamers tend to spice their game "trolling" or some variation of it.

I quite enjoy the survivor experience myself, most of the time. The solo queue is a pain sometimes.

I think they were pointing out how it felt easier to gain pips as survivor compared to killer

Its funny how many people are here saying wait till you get nothing but nurse and blight but those are the best games because a good nurse or blight is terrifying to face.

I wish more killers were as broadly viable as nurse and blight are, every game would be a terrifying survival horror experience, which is what DBD is a survival horror.

I know that feeling... After I was a killer main exclusively for 600 hours I moved to survivor and never looked back, it's much peaceful and easier experience and the only boring part is gens. I play killer rarely now days.
