Iridescent Shard Boost / Focused/streamlined perk blood webs.
Hey DbD Devs,
Is there any plans to add an Iridescent Shard Boost mechanic in exchange for Auric Cells? While trying to juggle work and family commitments, I am finding myself having more $$ than time. Being able to chose the individual perks from the Shrine of Secrets is a great way to get the most of the game while spending less time and BP's on unlocking teachables from bloodwebs.
I find that unlocking teachables like Self Care at level 40 also unlocks Botany and Empath (both great perks) but not a part of a specific build I intend to run. By unlocking these teachables in other Bloodwebs it further dilutes the pool of perks and makes it require much more blood points to have a cohesive build on both survivor and killer. in turns starts to makes new killers/ survivors less appealing to players of a more casual nature. I would hate to see your beautiful art and hard programming work undermined by a massive grind wall.
It would be a worthy addition to the game to add a 3 day double Shard boost every time you level for, as an example, 300 Auric Cells.
It would also be nice to be able to target specific perks in your bloodweb pool. A solution for this could be, every 5 levels, each end of blood web spine has a rank 1 perk, for a total of 6 unobtained learned teachables, and you're able to choose 2, and for the next 5 levels those two rank 1 learned teachables have a much higher chance to appear in the blood web, in their rank 2 and 3 forms.
