New Prestiges

Hi, was it BHVRs intention to make the new prestiges lower for characters that were prestiged and then higher for ones that were not prestiged? Like if I had known that I would not have prestiged some of my characters at the last minute before the update. I guess me and hundreds of others just misunderstood that.

    It was in patch-notes. Based on perk tiers you were able to get up to 6 prestige levels.

    So, if one character is naked p1 and other character is p0 with all-all-all perks, then... first one get only 2 additional levels (1+2=p3) and the other get 6 levels (0+6=p6).

    In case if both characters are p1 but one has no perks and other has all perks, then it's 1+2=p3 (again) and 1+2+6=p9 (p3 thanx for the only one prestige level and 6 additional based on perks).


    If your prestiged characters had less than 120 perk tiers you missed nothing.

    I don't remember seeing this breakdown anywhere before the patch, would have been nice to know.

    So it has been known for month, I guess? At least 3 weeks. The only thing they changed is additional levels for existing prestiges. It was 1 on PTB and they made it 2 for live update. The whole system was untouched.

    Oh okay thanks, I can't do the PTB so I never read the notes and I guess the 100 people that told me to prestige didn't either lol, oh well guess it gives me something to do to get all the perks back now that I lost on the 4 survivors that I had almost everything on. I don't have all the survivors so a lot of my perks I got from the shrine.
