Killers don't even bother going after other survs after a hook
What have you done, BHVR...
Every game I've played so far in solo Q was buffed Thana + sloppy + camping killers... even camping nurses. And gens take ages to complete. Literally ages.
Let alone the fact that every random in solo Q wants to be altruistic at the same time and they stop repairing gens because of the lack of information we have as solo Q players...

Stop the drama please. I've played many survivor games and have run into a thanatophobia killer twice. The gens take 10 seconds longer, that's not ages. In fact in my killer games I barely notice a difference. Games still go by to fast.

10 seconds longer without thana. Either my server is full of noobs or maybe you're just too good.

I am going to have to say in my games....Killers still Tunnel that includes the NEMI, WRAITH, and for some odd reason the ONRYO? SHAME man....

I think the synergize of old 2nd chance were really strong. You pass by a BT, then a DH, then you have to eat DS or they will use Unbreakable, which was 3 layers of protection.
Now, DS is useless, which no one use, which you cant make Unbreakable play (lose 1 layer), DH is dead now (lose 1 layer, not that I complain, DH hurts fair play killers more than tunnelers)
Tunneling is soften if no one have any 2nd chance, but easier to hard tunneling now. All survivors have now is the stronger BT version.

Slightly off-topic, but everyone always makes the argument that the killer's aura shouldn't be shown if kindred becomes basekit? Why not? This is information that swf would have, and deincentives camping because everyone can see it's happening.

Basekit kindred would fix many things... specially bad survivors taking wrong decisions xD

It's certainly an easy change that would vastly improve solo queue coordination

People have been asking for this for years, its the most obvious positive change they could make but the devs just seem against it for whatever reason.

Tunneling after this patch is just gross to me, I did it sometimes previously just because chase times with old DH were ridiculous and you needed to get someone out quick but now?
I can lazily run zero slowdown and just go from person to person with bbq and chase with minimal mind games because survivors are still trying to greed pallets not realizing they can't anymore and 4king with little to no effort and even if they do throw the pallet it's not a massive deal. OtR doesn't even do anything if survivors don't coordinate properly and sprint burst is great but perfectly reasonable, playing killer felt very chill tonight and tunneling feels completely unnecessary. I even had a Huntress game where I played like ######### but 4k'd anyway because gens take so long so tunneling to me seems like borderline griefing atp.
I like how playing killer feels now but BHVR needs to throw soloQ a bone and make kindred base and extend DS along with extended hook timers. I think the patch surprisingly did a lot to getting us closer to both sides feeling good to play but they overshot what they were going for and really need to help out solo survivors and then the game might actually be in a really good place for both sides if they do.

We just got 4k by a tunneling Myers that was not good at all yet it was really easy for him to hit us a 2nd time because 1) hits don't give us much of a physical distance anymore and 2) HITBOXES... what are you doing BHVR? I'm behind hit from behind rocks

It was meta because not every survivors use full 4 2nd chance. And its sad that the old meta punish fair play killers more than tunnelers, which again explain why tunneling was meta as it is now.

BHVR: Okay gens are slower and chases are faster, DS & Dead Hard are nerfed. Go crazy.

The options are to hit the rescuer twice, or the unhooked twice.
It's a very straightforward nobrainer choice.
An early deep wound will take care of DH and any other endurance effects like OTR, MoM or a Styptic.
And you will get an additional stage on a survivor, getting ready for elimination.
And DS in it's current state is all but an afterthought.
And that's assuming the unhook is allowed in the first place, or stalled enough to force a second stage.

the first thing, I am pretty sure. I had some Teammates till now in SoloQ.... OMG, they should play the tutorial 10 times....

Probably somewhere between half to 3 quarters of them. But I also had a couple 4 man escapes all well where I got destroyed.
