A Death Note chapter
The original Japanese anime definitely not the terrible live action film
I think it would make a fantastic chapter that would sell fast. I know that Death Note has a huge following and the characters would fit nicely.
Survivors: Light and L both fan favourites and would each make for interesting survivors to play as or instead of L add Misa Amane so there is a male and female survivor then make L a skin for Light.
Killer: Ryuk the shinigami (a god of death) his special ability could be activating his Shinigami eyes so all survivors have their names and life span floating above their head in red making them more visible and if you keep them in sight for long enough you add their name to your death note and they either take damage or become exposed.
I'm sure if you made this chapter it would quickly become a fan favourite and if by some chance you haven't seen death note I 100% recommend watching it as it is a masterpiece.

while i am not opposed to death note coming into dead by daylight in some way shape or form i am not too sure this should be an actual chapter.
Skins i'd like but I dont know how to implement the death note without either making it look like a joke, feeling too similar to executioner or being OP.
also ryuk looks more goofy than scary... at least to me

The death note itself could be like the cenobites puzzle box when you pick it up and flick through the pages it draws Ryuk to you

The live action film wasn’t great but it was ok I think. 🤷♂️ It just tried to compress an entire season of a tv show into 90 minutes so it got mind of messed up from that. But I really liked Willem Defoe in it. 🙂
