Revert Exhaustion

Now that bhvr has killed dead hard, and shortened the time it takes to catch up to survivors. By this they have made it easier to get bloodlust, shortened the time to break pallets, and shortened the time in between attacks (even more so with STBFL). They should revert the exhaustion mechanic to how it was back in 2016-2018. That it recovers while on the move.

That would be busted. There are other ways that are way healthier to balance solos.

I just want Vigil to provide a 33% exhaustion recovery rate while running. It would be amazing.

No. But bloodlust shouldn’t have gotten buffed

How is that busted? It was a mechanic they initially had in the game for two years but became too strong with infinites. Most infinites have been removed.

No. Dead Hard isn’t the only exhaustion perk.

Garden of joy I’ll give you yes. That map needs a new look at. But RPD? I’ve never had an issue as survivor or killer on that map. Maybe it’s because I played too much RE2Remake before and I knew the layout. Maybe not. That map is not as bad as people always make it out to be. But again it’s still easier to end chases now far too easy. Coming from a 60% survivor 40% killer here.

That's just the beginning. Now that DH is gone we can safely buff Exhaustion to 30 seconds, as well as Vigil to 11/22/33% reduction.

It’s not about knowing the layout. The east office has an infinite in there against most killers. Obviously Nurse and Blight can deal with it but a few can’t deal with it well.

Old BNP's were in the game, old Anti-Hemorrhagic Syringe, old Moris, old DS, old Dying Light, old Legion, old Hatch, etc...

Which is now kind of moot with the bloodlust buff. If you straight up juggernaut it you will catch and down then and get rid of the pallet in that room.

My suggestion is for a revert to an old mechanic since now chases are ended even faster unless you’re a veteran. New to casual players go down way too quickly and waste resources that a veteran player could reserve.

So add a mechanic that helps new players, and buffs already good ones to unbeatable levels, like old Dead Hard.

Is it running? Or a brisk jog? Exhaustion is just a word. Actual sprinters can sprint, and run on and off. (This is just examples not like the game is based on real life).

Yeah, instead of what OP said we should make it so the Exhaustion status effect PREVENTS running!

No, they honestly shouldn't. But Vigil should allow you to recover from exhaustion while running, but obviously at a decreased rate.
