Does MMR have to do with the new wave of complaints?

In my mind it would make sense that immediately after such a big buff to killer everyones first games are gonna be stomps since well their MMRs havent adjusted to the new amounts of skill required to kill or escape. I think once MMR mellows out in a week or two thee ks at 5 gens will be less common.
