Bhvr needs to do a new round of player data for matchmaking

This is about how their current matchmaking works according to their own reports in logs.

This also is mainly about the survivor role and a sort of after effect to the killer role

With the newest patch and all meta perks across both roles being greatly nerfed i think its a good idea for the rest of the year or starting mid chapter next chapter to start collecting player data once again until a chapter or 2 after that to rebalance the current matchmaking datas.

Players who consistently got escapes or kills due to meta perks extending their survivability will become false statistics if it was due to perks like decisive strike or dead hard giving them a 2nd chance to correct a mis-play or extend a chase or end it.

Additionally with the killer perk nerfs and reworks it makes it at the moment fairly easy to take advantage of assumption or confusion on the survivors side due to lack of rework understanding.

I do like the perk changes for the majority and as its still only a few days since the change at this moment theres a lot left to understand for a lot of people due to ptb changes and pc only access at that.

But ive noticed with solo or duo matches the remainder of players are obviously not as skilled to hold their own when in certain situations because they relied on said perks to make up for lack of caution or player sense.

This is both killer interaction and game sense such as being aware of surroundings because they relied on spine chill for example and dont fully understand how it works at the moment.

Or using meta perks as if they werent changed drastically and rage quitting when they assume its anything other than their own faults.

I believe this will only get better and worse as time goes on since these are typically players within a certain skill rating and it was inflated because of said perks.
