My thoughts on the new update
I've been seeing a lot of posts and very spicy arguments both for and against this new update. Some are saying killer buffs and survivor nerfs are too killer sided, while others say it is fair and balanced.
My opinion on this topic as a killer main is that, from the games I played today, I felt like the faster pallet breaking speed was a bit too much, as well as the reduced killer attack cooldown and survivor hit speed boost.
The changes I would make is revert the pallet breaking speed change, and revert the faster killer attack cooldown speed. This would hopefully discourage STBFL abusers and make chases a little fairer. As for the reduced survivor speed boost, I think bhvr should keep that, it would hopefully encourage more overcome users.
The perk changes are amazing, aside from lightweight. In my opinion, lightweight is a bit too strong now. Keep the 5 seconds earlier scratch mark disappearance, but revert the messy scratch marks change - it's a bit too much, especially for newer killers.
As of the slower gen completion speed, it's only 10 seconds longer. Yes, slowdown perks are annoying and strong, but survivor medkits are strong, BNP are strong, what right do survivors have to complain when none of those have been nerfed?
If survivors want to ecape, bring good perks and good items. Just like if killers want to kill, bring good perks and good add-ons. I don't know where all these complaints are coming from - the game explains itself. This is a good update, but it seems like the dbd community will never be satisfied with anything bhvr ever does huh? Honestly disappointed considering the effort bhvr put in and popular content creators praising this update.

I wouldn't revert any killer buff.
I would buff Solo Q and probably turn down a bit stacking slowdowns because maybe it is not OP, but Survivors like to give up and DC, ruining the whole game because how annoying and boring this is.
Also addons are terrible to grind.

The killer buff I'd revert is the successful hit cooldown, along with returning the survivor sprint burst after a hit to its longer duration. With all the changes, alongside the increased speed in breaking stuff and decreased waiting time for bloodlust, a survivor ought to at least feel there's a chance of survival once injured. Especially with STBFL, the first hit almost guarantees a down.

how would you buff solo q?

Make them closer to SWF groups. So Kindred base kit (without killer aura) and some text bubble messenges that players can use (Example: I am doing gen, Killer is close, I need healing, Generator almost done, etc.).
