What are your 4 most essential killer perks right now?

Trying to decide what killers I want to dump some bloodpoints in to get to P3 so I can have their T3 perks.

What are your go-to perks lately? :)

Killer specific perk loadouts/General 'any-killer' perk loadouts, either or.

    Discordance stocks are soaring

With prove thyself dominating a lot of builds right now, you will get insane info from it

I don't know if they're essential but I like to run Plaything, Pentimento, Pain Resonance and either STBFL or Gift of Pain. Gives me some nice survivor slow down, speed up for myself, and a little bit of stealth to sneak up on survivors lol

On the killers side, Trapper and Billy offer some very good baseline perks that are useful on a lot of builds, ie Agitation, Brutal Strength and Enduring. Tinkerer is also very useful on any mobility killer and Lightborn, while never meta, has a tendency to tilt those players who overtly rely on flashlights.

On the non-licended killers I think that Plague should go next, as all her perks are highly useful and she offers the Corrupt Intervention, which a lot of setup or M1 killers relied on in the past, but her Infectious Fright also sees use in lots of builds. After her I think that either Spirit, Artist or Dredge offer some good variets; Artist for the quite important Scourge: PainRes, that is one of the most meta killer perks, even after it lost its detection part after the patch, Spirit for her Haunted Grounds and Spirit Fury, which can offer a lot of usage to quite some builds, but also Rancor can now, that BBQ no longer reigns supreme, shine as a info perk that gives steady value throughout the trial. Dredges Darkness Revealed is another superb detection tool, especially on every other killer then Dredge, which survivors often have a hard time to figure out is in play. Dissolution is also fun to use as an alternative to Spirit Fury and Septic Touch was used for a short time as a sorta counter to DH, but isn't as needed in the new uncertain meta.

On the licenced killers I would opt for Pinhead and Onryou. Pinhead easily brings two very meta perks to the table, ie Plaything and Deadlock, and also Scourge: Gift of Pain got recently buffed in a way that it is now highly useful, especially when paired with another Scourge Hook. the Onryou brings a mixed bag of goodies to the table; her Scourge Hook offers some interesting survivor detection, but its sometimes easily missed when you are in the mids of the action. Call of Brine is probably the only gen kicking perk that offers any value (and could be paired with the Doctors Overcharge, even though that combo was nerfed) and Merciless Storm offers a protection net to nearly done gens that often catches survivors off guard and in the later game will lead to some pretty risky last second repairs.

So, for killers I would opt: Trapper -> Billy -> Plague -> Pinhead -> Artist -> Dredge -> Onryou -> Spirit.

With this new Prove Thyself + Sprint Burst meta Discordance became a S tier perk even better than new Corrupt Intervention imo.

Don't know about your lobbies but in my lobbies I just keep seeing group of survivors with 3/4 Prove and others gens perks before the patch I used to see at least 1 Prove thyself on one survivor not 3/4 survivors with Prove all SoloQ Enjoyers are running Prove because of the increased 10 seconds on gens.

Discordance was already a decent perk now it's a must have in this new meta imagine you're playing a slow 110 killer like Huntress or Deathslinger and you go to a map like Mother's Dwelling you can't afford to waste time looking for survivors you need to start your first chase ASAP and being able to pressure 2 survivors early is always great.

Tinkerer used to be the best info perk in the game but after it got nerfed I think Discordance might become the best info perk in the game no reason to run Lethal Pursuer if you have Discordance.

anyways yeah run Discordance in all your killer builds trust me you'll get insane info from it.

Hex plaything on pinhead which also gets you dead lock. I love plaything because it gives another thing for the survivors to do and if they dont you can get the drop on them.

Also I freaking love discordance right now with the prove thyself perk going around like hotcakes

I don't have a set build for killers, I just do what I feel fits best with my playstyle on that killer. That being said, I'll never stop running devour hope on trapper. It's my go to perk and always will be my personal favorite. Hex: Thrill of the hunt goes great with it because it helps slow down survivors trying to get rid of devour hope and other hexes. As for other perks I have been enjoying scourge hook monstroush shrine as an additional cherry to devour hope to incentivize them getting the survivor off hook quickly. Not to mention the agitation and iron grasp combo that's stupid strong.

You know what this means? We are witnessing the birth of a new meta live and in color! How exciting! This is literally happening right before our eyes: because of increased gen time survivors use more Proof Thyself. Because of Proof, killers use Discordance. What will be the next counter step? Distortion?

Discordance has been a mediocre perk for most of its existence and still is.

On Trickster, I've mainly been using Agitation, Brutal Strength, Darkness Revealed, and Iron Maiden and have been having fun with the build. I genuinely don't feel like I need slowdown perks anymore since the changes as the matches more than ever really depend on my skill and the survivors' skill and how well each of us perform to determine who comes out on top in the match. Using slowdown just isn't fun for me, but I'd probably use Deadlock or No Way Out if I wanted some form of delay. Stacking slowdowns is not fun either.

I've been really having fun using chase builds on most killers as they are very viable! Plaything is also a perk I have very fun using. Recently I've been combining it with Third Seal to block off the aura survivors would normally see from their Plaything totem. Fun builds all around.

Well Distortion doesnt hide Discordamce information so i would say that next counter would be more "do gen faster" perks like Deja Vu, Overzealous and Resilience so the gen could be done before the killer reach it OR Sprint Burst so they can escape the killer when he reach the gen

Monitor + Pain Res + Surveillance + misc.

I NEED my map control on Trickster. He's incomplete without a regression perk.
