Games are so easy now they're not fun anymore.

I also didn't use meta perks, my build is exactly the same still. They dont care, they'll just keep ignoring all the basekit buffs to killers.
2 -
Oh yes the basekit buffs for killers. Wow faster breaking pallets action. But let's ignore the bt basekit after unhook. Why do you always look at one side and not the other one?
2 -
Wow but lets ignore breaking pallets faster, bloodlust buff, speed recovery buff for hits, nerfed speed boost for survivors, gens 90 seconds now.
Such wow.
Next time dont forget all of these m'kay?
7 -
Yes.
6 -
Ok, do you know that while gens are longer to finish the perks involving gen speed have been buffed and with those perks gens are actually faster than before? Bloodlust buff when maps have 200 pallets and semi-infinites around and if you break them the bloodlust is gone. Are you blind? There is always something done to counter the buffs the killers got.

Excuses, excuses and more excuses. Inaccurate ones at that.
2 -
Ahah that's actually funny. But as I already said you are just looking at the survivor side of things. For example that 10% pop... Do you know that pop now is a crap perk because now it regresses just the 25% of the current percentage and not of 100%? Another perk made useless. But you don't mention it in you funny post.
0 -
Ok excuses. Is it all you have to say?
0 -
At this point yes. I truly believe some people just see what they want to see.
2 -
Exactly. That's the problem.
1 -
the thing with the killer perk nerfs is that a substitute perk is readily available; adapting means to simply switch it out. In this case drop pop, take painres. the same is not true for survivors except for replacing self care with coh. On top of that the base kit changes to killer have just been added on top - and the base kit BT isn't even remotely on par with those changes.
2 -
Another perk made useless, did you mean this one?
1 -
I think some killers should get nerfs probably but yeah like you said when killer is losing or the game is close he can easily tunnel one out. Played 2 matches so far with 3 man swf we beat legion who was playing very fair and all escaped but everyone was on death hook expect the solo. Other match we played pretty well get 4 gens done but the scream targeted one of my friend more and got him pretty quickly out and we could not complete the last gen.
Just had good soloQ game agains't bubba unfortunately we could not save feng. Mybsolo mates had chance when bubba carried me but they were too afraid.

I think we are missing the point here, we are not talking about which side have been nerfed of buffed the most, we would be talking for 24 hours complaining about nerfs and buffs and in which occasion, team, maps they could be broken. This thread is about killers being totally op and it's not true. The nerfs and buffs devs did are ok for the most part especially that cursed DH nerf. The thing is SWF are still powerful as hell and survivors are just needed to become better at the game instead of relying in those crutch perks. So in the end the fact is now both killers and survivors need to become better at the game instead of spamming perks to win. But if survivors just want to win every game... well I have nothing to say. Remember this is a 1v4 game. The killer are needed to be stronger than a single survivor, it's not a 1v1 game.
1 -
Not every solos thought. Competent solos can do very well and better than most swf. I have had some crazy solo teams before patch where we just dominated killer the way I would not do with my friends. They are more casual but better than most thought.
1 -
Maybe don't go into "tunnel mode"?. I am beginning to wonder all these complaints of camping and tunneling killers? How many of these killers are actually moonlighting survivors who don't know how to actually play the role? Just a thought. You said solo queue survivors have a "long uphill battle" if the killer is decent. You also said as a solo q player you don't care anymore and don't even bother to try.
Don't you see the problem here?
All it takes is one player with your attitude to sink the entire team. You say you keep getting easy 4ks. How many of those games included someone with your outlook who dc'ed or killed themselves on hook?
See what I mean?

I think in this forum we all know which perks are buffed and nerfed, and the fact every time you list a buff or nerf for one side I can give you an example for the other one explains really well how "killers are now SO op".

lol let's just be honest, most of the people complaining is survivor main
faking the information like the game is easy for killer when they're not actually play often as killer is so childish and stupid
i am killer main still struggles against survivor every now and then.
of course there are still a game when i manage to get 4k, but this is just the same like before the update.
i have a gut feeling most of survivor complaining is an avid user of DH and DS, and confuse how to play survivor now
i am not a survior main, but when i play survivor i always use dead hard. my looping skill immediately decrease now without the almighty dh.
i am fine with buff for survivor, i just hate the idea of someone not researching enough and alr asking for buffs
4 -
Yes, that's true. I swear, every single match I had before the rework I had at least 2 survivors with DH, which led them to waste my time for another minute if they were decent at looping. Now they are just crying because they have to actually be good at the game.
1 -
Maybe because the community is so very, very not used to it but one killer favorable patch and survivors are coming completely unglued. How many times have we received a patch that isn't completely survivor sided? I've been playing since 2018. A three-toed sloth could count that on one hand.
2 -
Those sound like perfectly normal games, save for the tunneling ghostie. Why should killers be nerfed? Why can't survivors be the ones to have to adjust for a change?
1 -
That’s basically how I feel.
2 -
"I am running some of the strongest perks in the game right now and I am shocked I am winning."
0 -
Yes, the experience is nearly the same minus the DH spam and the nerfed DS. I can't really understand why there is so much complaining. I still think the same things as before about this game. Broken SWF. Solos are like playing roulette since most of the times there is at least a survivor throwing the game for others... Unfun game RN.

I'm enjoying the update, I think it's a good chance for killers after all these years of them getting the short end, the stick. The game isn't boring, to me at all now it actually feels fair without survivors thinking they can just dead hard to win
And everyone is talking about solo Q how are they gonna buff solo q's without buffing survivors in general????
0 -
It doesn't surprise me. Survivors are more likely to hide and try and stealthily do gens due to the gen speed increase and 9/10 killers are running gen regression/blocking builds. They have no incentive to go out of their way to interact with the killer because their objective now feels much more difficult to reach.
1 -
So,what's the problem?
Isn't this how it actually supposed to be?
If you play better than your opponent then you should win.
Isn't it unfair for survivors to escape, when they didn't play nowhere as good as the killer.
I dont think its a problem of killer being too strong, but survivors not being used to play at the level killers play.
0 -
Actually, in my Tom Jerry image, I only list the basekit change.
Which you brought in "Pop is useless now"
0 -
You wrote pop 10%, I told you the tradeoff for that was a nerf at pop as a perk. Not too complicated to understand.
0 -
Yes, I list it as the basekit on Killer. Same to STBFL, Brutal strength.
0 -
What did we say to killers that complained before because game was too hard? Play survivor! If you find it too easy, same thing play solo survivor!
0 -
The game is still manage-able if Killer play fair.
Its just many Killers still slap in 4 slow down and tunnel/camp, play like their life depends on 4K.
3 -
Yeah well I said survivors will have to adapt to many changes now, same goes for some killers who are so used to needing such perks to have a chance to win they just go on autopilot still. I think this will settle down a bit in time but of course there will always be players on both sides who just wants to mess with the other side.

OP has 6k hours and says killer is too easy. The vast majority of players are not even near those hours. They are not stomping at 5 gens. Not every killer is running 4 gen slowdown. I only run tracking and anti-healing perks for example.
I have a feeling the stats will show survivors still escaping their butts off, just not as often.
I do agree that this game is less hard if you play unfairly. This has been true since the start.
1 -
I've played 5 games of no slowdown Clown since the update and survivors have yet to get the gens done. Haven't even touched Nurse yet. They balanced killer around sweaty SWF and gave solos absolutely nothing outside of watered down BT.
4 -
Listing down on both side:
Survivors:
- SWF (no perk/item required)
- Multiple 2nd chance.
- Strong item/addon.
Killers:
- Tunneling/camping (no perk/ item required)
- Multiple slowdown.
- Strong addon.
Playing as Solo (without #1), you only have #3 left in your hand, and items are nerfed with certain perks you use. Killers still have all 3 options at hand to use. Killer's #2 is fairly soften, but its not as hard as Survivor's #2.

Got my trapper adept at last, thanks bhvr 😂

That's mainly my point. If you want to win as killer, you'll win, no matter the team unless they're some comp 4 man swf mambo jambo. Against 4 solo is a guarranteed victory every time, even if they're outplaying you, you just tunnel them out and that's it. Where's the challenge as killer if survivors have little to no chance of survival? Should I "go easy on them" and start running weak perks? Why should I be the one responsible for balancing the game?
2 -
you are running the most META perks and dont have fun winning?, bruh. You are not enforced to use these perks anymore thats why killers got buffed, for you to be able to play something else. If you dont have fun using other builds thats okay but doesnt look like you are feeling rewarded for using your current build, and you feel a bit carried.
Before you couldnt win without these perks and that why we needed the buffs, run some fun things it will make the game enjoyable for you and will give survivors a chance

Killers got many strong new perks and the full potential of their synergies hasn't been unleashed yet. I can turn the table and say the same things "killers got carried by stupid OP perks like Ruin, Pop and Noed that had great impact for almost no investment". They got nerfed for a reason, because almost everyone used them because they were strong and reliable.
1 -
You can't balance the game around 12 hooks and hooking everyone alternately, because that would mean it will be very easy for "unfriendly" killers who want to tunnel someone out. You would have to make it impossible to hook someone who was already on hook before, and i don't think they will do this. I actually wouldn't say tunneling is easier, DS and DH is kinda dead but you have OTR and the holding W exhaustion perks. It's a bit easier but not by much. Camping is stronger now thanks to longer gen times and because perks like Deadlock exist.
1 -
Because leaving Dead Hard intact and asking survivors politely to use a different perk worked so well?
1 -
Take off those perks then?
0 -
The low MMR players are being really loud after this patch.
2 -
well yeah. its not like solo survivor can't do same thing as SWF. they're just less likely to do same plays as swf. surivvor as a whole is still very strong role and most of my games as killer are still pretty challenging if I play against a strong team.
in term my solo games as survivor? they're still about the same as pre-patch. the only difference is that survivor perks are overall weaker and gens are bit more fair for killer. you can still do generator quickly if your team is gen efficient.
0 -
Name me the strong perks killer got. And please don't tell me ruin, pop and noed were op. Ruin: useless hex perk tied to a totem. Pop: a perk requring to hook someone, going to the gen and kick it to lower the progress of 25%. Noed... maybe survivors should look for totems instead of just pressing m1 on gens (another hex perk btw).
1 -
Please tell me the op perks killer got in this patch. Are you really telling me ruin, pop and noed were op? Ruin and noed: hex perks, maybe survivors should also look for totems instead of just pressing m1 on gens. Ruin in particulare a very useless perk since its first rework. And pop... a perk requiring to hook someone, going to the gen and kick it to lower the progress of 25%... wow so op.
0 -
DH is intact or would you call it broken?
0 -
i didnt really mean they're OP, i was just mimicking what killer mains say about every survivor perk. "Maybe just look for totems" doesn't work against strong killers (who were the ones profiting most from Ruin). Even when Ruin lasts only 2 minutes it was usually enough for strong killer players to gain value out of it, a good start is the foundation for a clean match as killer. Saying it was useless is just wrong, it was imo stronger than Pop on some killers. It's not worth it right now for sure. Pop was a very strong perk once you got the snowball rolling and enough information, it is still ok now i think.
NOED was a crutch. It helped bad playing killers to get some kills. I mean i don't care, i played it myself sometimes on some killers. But it was definitely a strong, momentum changing perk. It's a free down nearly every time and a save kill if they don't find it, which is kinda hard in endgame in a solo team.
I never said there are OP perks now, but there are strong perks especially in combination with each other (most killers still play mostly slowdowns). Saying that killers have no good perks anymore is just nonsense.

Nice to hear someone speaking at least mine and a friends reality of games. 1 escape out of 9 games, with tunneling and face camping in all but 1 game (not the escape) lol.
