Killer is roughly on the same level as survival friends now, so there's that, but survivors are also still adjusting and adapting, and it looks like quite a few of them are now getting the hang of it.

Killer (as some have put it) has training wheels now, and the developers are no longer holding the survivor's hand and instead the killer's hand /j

But in all honesty, I recommend giving the new update a shot, who knows you might like it, you might not, but killer queue times have been very terrible as of late due to the amount of survivors leaving the game or swapping over to killler

Life is a lot better for Killers now. Though I can not say for sure how it will be once people got used to the changes and lerned to play with and around them, what I can say is that it feels a lot better to play Killer and not having to constantly respect the possible Dead Hard every time you are in range.

And I do think the changes did a good job at shaking up the meta for both sides, so that is pretty neat as well. Though it is only a matter of time until a new meta is found, but right now you can freely experiment with whatever you like.

One thing to note though is, that the Killer queue times right now are rather bad.
