Killer Idea: The Musician
So I had an idea for a killer, based on this image of some character
https://www.artstation.com/artwork/3aQWE Credit to artist "Rich Carey"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FCCCb7ZWXz4&t=270s and here was some fan music to go with it
Height: Normal
Move speed: 115% normally, 110% while playing his melodies.
Terror radius: 32 normally, 36 while playing his melodies.
Power: Grand Symphony
The Musician has four melodies he plays, each if uninterrupted will play for a whole minute, with their effects lasting an additional 10 seconds afterwards. He must play each melody in order, if one is interrupted it will switch to the next melody. He must wait 20 seconds between each song. if a survivor can hear the melody i.e. is in the terror radius, the effects given.
Most actions will interrupt his melody i.e. checking lockers, being stunned, swinging his weapon, being blinded, or picking up a survivor. vaulting windows and breaking generators, pallets, or breakable walls will not interrupt his melody.
The first song "The Song of the Heart": The Musician stops in place for 1 second and begins playing a thrilling melody, causing those hearts that hear it to race, all survivors that can hear this melody have killer instinct applied to them.
The second song "The Song of Gloom": The Musician stops in place for 1 second and begins playing a depressing melody, causing those that hear it to sadden, all survivors that can hear this melody have a 15% movement speed penalty until they leave the terror radius or this melody ends. This song's effects last an additional 10 seconds after the melody ends.
The third song "The Song of the Hunt": The Musician stops in place for 1 second and begins playing a valorous melody, causing himself to become excited, while playing this melody, the Musician gains 5% movement speed immediately, gaining an additional 5% movement speed every 10 seconds. (having 145% movement speed at the end of an uninterrupted song). this song's effects last an additional 10 seconds after the melody ends.
The fourth song "The Song of Death": The Musician stops in place for 1 second and begins playing a malicious melody, causing those that hear it to fear, all survivors that can hear this melody begin to have a meter fill up, the meter will not go away until it is either full, the melody has ended, or the survivor has changed health states. When the bar is full (takes about 15 seconds) the survivor is exposed until the melody ends or until they cannot hear it. the song's effects last an additional 10 seconds after the melody ends.
and then the songs cycle so he would start back at song of the heart.
Perks:
Song of the Machine --- Whenever a generator finishes, the aura of all survivors within 12/24/36 meters of you is revealed. "The melodies of machines fills you with bloodlust."
Worldwide Performance --- When a survivor has been outside of your terror radius for more than 180/160/140 seconds their aura is revealed to you for 5 seconds every 5 seconds "If they choose not to listen, they will be forced to!"
Hex: Crescendo --- At the beginning of the match a dull totem is turned into a hex totem, gradually getting stronger when survivors try to escape. For every generator that is completed gain a token.
1 token: damage generators, breakable walls, and pallets 10%/15%/20% faster
2 tokens: hitting a survivor with your basic attack leaves them broken for 30/45/60 seconds
3 tokens: survivors repair generators 10%/15%/20% slower
4 tokens: this totem's aura is revealed to all survivors, all survivors are exposed
5 tokens: this totem is immediately broken, survivors remain exposed for an additional 30 seconds, the exit gates are blocked for 30 seconds
I think this killer would be semi-difficult, with high risk/reward
feedback would be appreciated :)
