Can we talk about killer vs survivor points??
I see people mentioned incentives to play one or the other, and no-one ever seems to mention how one-sided these points are. As a survivor, I find it almost near on impossible to obtain the maximum point threshold (when it was 32k, no chance of 40k), but as a killer it was a regular occurrence that they scored 32k, and they still score consistently high. Sometimes the survivor can receive a higher score / more blood points, but that requires an exceptionally good game from the entire team of survivors, and an extremely poor game from the killers.
One of my biggest issues is that if you are being chased by the killer/tunnelled, you only get points in boldness, and a few points in lightbringer (if your team is actively popping gens whilst you're being chased). Meanwhile killer is charging all of their categories at the same time. Altruism has to be spread between the team, which may make it impossible for you to score well in this category in some games. In fact, if your team is playing well, and the killer bad, you are actually going to score less in this category, because you wont have people to unhook/heal.
I feel that a game where you stomp as survivors probably rewards around 15-18k (maybe a bit higher with new points), because the game is short, but if a killer stomps, regardless of game length I'm expecting a score of 27k+ from them, but usually 30k+. There are many games where killers receive a 1k game but have the highest score in the game, and I find it baffling. I would love it if this could be addressed.

Well it should be common sense that killer gets more bp as for their team they're taking ALL the interactions while survivor is 4 people basically competing for boldness interactions and altruism actions.

There are also far less killers. More bp for killer is designed as an incentive to play them.

People have talked about this for at least as long as I've been around. It's a prominent issue. You're completely correct; killers get more points than survivor by design, since they're the only player on their team, they aren't competing with anyone for their finite objectives, and they can't be removed from the game early.
I wouldn't mind increasing survivor points so that they cap out categories fairly easily (at the very least, solo gens need to reward far more points than they do), but still get considerable scores if they die halfway through the game.
(That said, an extremely poor game from the killer end results in the survivors also getting low points. The killer needs to do moderately well in order for survivors to be able to maximize Altruism and Boldness. Again, wouldn't mind seeing some score events at the end that reward survivors for totally stomping, so games against bad or even afk killers don't end with 15k points tops.)

not true. if it was true it isn't anymore. That's why killer queues take ages right now. nobody wants to play survivor.

Yeah, survivor is a bit difficult to get a decent amount of bloodpoints as you have to adopt a "do everything" playstyle on top of also escaping to even hope to get as many points as a struggling killer. That being said, even more reason for a survivor incentive (when queues are bad). Killer always had BBQ too, and now that is gone. So, for me, they seem pretty similar. I just get way less because I am not escaping. With an escape, they would be more or less the same, I believe.

fix survival category, and fix deviousness/brutality issues on killers who have to sacrifice one to get the other.both sides actually have BP issues at the moment, but on survivor side that survival one is up to 25% of point potential in a match being completely wasted and relying on a single event ti fill half of it.

This, basically they just need to:
For survivors
- Increase the amount of survival points you get or add new ways to get survival
- Get rid of the co-op bonus for a gen and just make that baseline how many points you get for doing a gen
- Increase the time required to be a "safe unhook" to disincentivizes farming, then increase the bonus points for safe unhook.
- Increase the points given for a protection hit, should be like 800-1000
- If you are being chased by the killer you should get a percentage of the objective points from gens your teammates are doing, kind of like how the emblem works, but also for bloodpoints.
- If killer DCs survivors should get maxed out objective and survival points (20k)
- If another survivor DCs all other survivors should get 2.5k bonus points in each category.
For killers:
- On killers like hillbilly/leatherface/myers/oni, make them grant double brutality on insta downs like they do for ghostface
- Same with any addons or perks that give exposed or instadown. If a survivor goes from healthy to downed in any way, the killer should get 2 hits worth of brutality.
- Same with plague, if survivors don't cleanse and she lands a hit, she should get bonus brutality and deviousness.
- If a survivor DCs you should get bonus brutality of hooks remaining * 3 hits worth, and the rest of the hooks worth of points remaining.

It IS true that it's much easier getting points as killer. If I need to grind for a while, I know that even playing super friendly and not killing more than 2 people, I'll get much more points than I would playing a normal game as survivor.
Plus as a killer, you don't have the uncertainty of whether you'll be killed 5 minutes into the game if the killer feels like tunneling.
I do feel like more bloodpoints rewards for survivors wouldn't hurt.

I'm just explaining why killers get more bp. I don't think BHVR should be making a knee jerk reaction to bp changes because of a temporary temper tantrum survivors are having. Survivors are already starting to play normally again now that they've had a chance to figure out new ways to play the game.
That being said, DS 3 second stun was unwarranted.

I just wish points would leak over into other catagories, no fun being chased by the killer all game to end up with a very small amount of bp

They shadow changed some score events btw
The only one I know so far is surviving used to give 5k, it now gives 7k
There might be others I haven't checked yet
