Question about White Glyphs.

So my question is about the White Glyph survivor challenges.

I understand that you have to take the glyph to the basement without rushing, falling, or being injured. But once you commune with the glyph in the basement, what do you do next with the glyph item? Is there anything to do with it because you still get the progress on the challenge just for taking it to the basement? It just seems like I'm missing part of the challenge because you wind up with an item after going to the basement.

    You can escape with the item to get a free 25k bp reward (or smth along those lines, you get a lot of BP for it)

    But you don't have to escape with it for the challenge progress, simply commune with the gylph in the basement

    Yeah, the item doesn’t have any other effect but you can carry it around and even drop it for other survs to pick up.

    you get the progress once you have brought it to the basement and communed with it there.

    escaping with it gives you additional 25K bonus BP as Brokenbones stated! These bonus BP will also be displayed on the end game screen where all players BP get shown and can create some confusion as other bonus BP don’t get shown there
