Why is there a skill issue with so many killers?

This. I understand the need to nerf DH, as it was overpowered in high mmr.

But there is a certain insecurity in some killers about the perk, the same way there is an insecurity in some killers about flashlights.

I've jokingly called it "fragile killer-ity" with a friend before. Before patch, he was OBSESSED with how broken DH was, vowed to never use it as survivor "as a matter of honor" (but used NOED consistently, go figure).

But... We're pretty much in the same mmr (quite low, we started playing 2 months ago). We started playing the game at the same time, we both play killer almost exclusively together (each in our game, but chatting) at the same hours of the day, and have about the same results (as Legion, I often let some survivors go because I'm soft, but as Hag, I almost always get 3Ks, which compensates with my friend's average kills).

I don't know where his hatred of DH comes from, because when you hear him talk, all he ever goes against are toxic teabagging SWFs with DH, but.... I have literally never seen a DH be used well. Most I saw were sh*t DH where I would down them 3 seconds later. And most players I go against are not playing agressively. Those who are a bit cocky often don't mean harm and don't harass me. Nice endgame chat is maybe not frequent, but at least common.

Yet the survivors we are facing are from the same pool, most likely the same skill level.

I cannot explain how different our experiences are, except maybe we have different attitudes that survivors react to differently.

Well given that this is the last released public data, and that the devs stated that they think kill rates were too low. It is probably safe to assume they aren't shooting for a 50% kill rate. Either that or the rates dipped at some point, but we just don't have the data.

The point stands though that we can't balance around the 90%, if we do, then nurse needs a buff and pig needs a nerf. The data doesn't lie.

Also, you still are ignoring my offering i proposed. Let's add that in the game. It'll be balanced because it'll be rare.

Not saying you did this or accusing you. But unless it was from tru3's stream or you have his actual steam ID, there isn't any proof that is actually him.

Secondly, even if it is him, it doesn't really matter. A single game is not enough data to say anything. Everyone has games where they play badly. Where it matters is consistency. Watch the matches tru3 played against team oracle, here is the first one:

Again, this is a bit old, but the point still shows how powerful a good SWF group is. Notice how they even play, in the first 15 seconds of that match, they "waste" the shack pallet. They just throw the pallets down, they don't try to play clever or be fun. They slam generators, and predrop every pallet for a reason.

The best part of these game is that these SWF handicapped themselves by not having duplicate perks or items, and i believe no green or red items/addons as well. So each survivor had different perks and different items.

So you're saying to be good at killer all someone has to do is play this game 8-12 hours a day, 5-7 days a week, for 6 years? That's it? If people only knew!

The gap between baby survivor and average survivor is extremely small. The gap between an average survivor and a good survivor is the size of our collective salt at this game. Once people understand the game, it is genuinely so one sided. I have no idea why people refuse to accept it other than the fact that they genuinely have no experience on it.

I understand an average killer will wreck average survivors. Of course. Naturally. But man, once they start playing to win, you will start seeing the BLATANT design inconsistencies really fast. And when mmr was at its "best" all of those streamers you are praising were crying more than your average forum goer as they were violated game after game after game. There is a reason Behavior loosened mmr and it certainly was not for average killers, I can tell you that much.

My mistake. Wraith, Dredge, whatever. Ultimately just an M1 killer who loses to holding forward and pre-dropped pallets. So y'all had weak/no items, suffering Nightfall from the start, quick first down, tunneling and camping, a grab, and it's Tru3, and you still believe that survivor isn't the power role? Not even close? You're viewing the situation backwards.

And I don't know what your friend's matches are like, whether he's playing Nurse or if the survivors are terrible, but there's no way he 4k's 9/10 matches. You're letting his results warp your idea of how strong killer is. Tru3's alleged "crying" about how weak killer is all I needed to hear. Just like if I talked to your friend and they said something like, "Freddy is a decent killer", that's all I need to know. I can't argue with people who are that far out of the loop.

Why are survivors complaining about the new patch, while the exact streamers you use as an argument against killers are playing survivor and doing just fine while facing the killers you are bashing?

Why is there a skill issue with so many survivors?

    The real question is......

Why cant you play bass like Davie504?

I mean, he makes it look easy all the time so it must be something everyone can do, right?

For me,I personally think it's much more that a good bit of killer mains get too tied up into thinking they NEED to chase down the toxic/runner of the group. Before,I would lose matches because I gave my time to someone who was actually mid af at loops but I wasn't thinking so I made the situation worse. When you load in,your priority shouldn't be to chase the survivors who wants to be chased. It's to hunt down the survivors that are killing gens with toolboxes. I started getting 2k games a lot less frequently and started getting 3ks and up more. I feel the skill Gap lies in what you prioritize logically as opposed to emotionally, want to make the game hopeless to win? Target the 2 survivors that do gens, the game is over after 1 of those 2 are dead. Huge slowdown builds are more or less the killer meta as well unfortunately, that's more or less all we have save for a few utility and info perks. I'd use hex perks if they weren't spawned in the worst places imaginable but that won't be for a long time lol.
