How has Sole Survivor been overlooked for so long.
With all the changes to the game, this perk is constanly ignored by the devs. If you are the last survivor in the match, you can repair generators 75% faster? Even if it was a good idea to repair gens as the last survivor (which it isnt), but it isnt possible after hatch is closed.
As a rework, have it increase your repair speed for each survivor sacrificed/killed. And the open exit gates faster is fine, but isnt hatch opening with a key instant? I admit I havent opened the hatch once since they were changed.
I dunno, but something needs to change with this one.

In its current state, sole survivor is completely useless. TBF I feel like left behind and sole survivor could be combined into 1 perk. So get additional speed increase for doing gens for each player killed, and at the end see the hatch if you're the last one left.

I misunderstood, ignore the first post. I do agree that the perk could use some dramatic changes.

It's not completely useless, there is an achievement which it can be used for.
And that's it.

A buff i had For the perk was. As each survivor dies your scratch marks become less and less visible and when your the only one left you leave no scratch marks

Ironically old left behind had that generator effect
so I think they only readded it for the left behind achievement

The opening the gate speed bonus isn't bad

key got nerfed. they're not instant. you need pick-lock for like 5 seconds.
sole survivor is only useful for wake up to get 80% gate opening speed during end game. repair bonus is a joke although old sole survivor was like worst perk in the game, the only purpose for it was to counter scratch mirror Myers when your last survivor alive.
the perk has use now... but why would anyone use wake+up sole survivor? I guess you can use it if your dying 10/10 games and your last person alive. shrug

Sole Survivor is useless, Left Behind and the hatch are borderline pointless now given the killer finds the hatch within about 10 seconds of it spawning in most matches I play.
I had hoped they'd buff the sole survivor... but they're giving the killer an insta-mori and deactivating evasive perks instead.

Sole survivor isn't a healthy perk idea. It incentivizes people to kill their own teammates so they can escape, which shouldn't ever be the goal of a game.

Sole Survivor is basically useless, unless you are the last survivor alive and need to open the exit gates. It needs something other than it's current effects.

Dramatic? Sure. Useful? Not really. Sitting in one spot, especially around a gen as the last survivor, is a terrible idea. The killer will be looking for you while also listening for the hatch. If killer gets it first, then the open speed on the exit COULD be good. It's going to depend heavily on how the exit gates are placed and line of sight. 10 seconds to open the gate MIGHT be enough, might not.

To this day I still don’t know if the aura part actually works as you don’t even have a tell that your aura was hidden

The 75% gen increase completely stumped me. I can't even understand the reasoning for it. They should have just left it out.

I wouldn't say it would be overpowered even if it gives you Endurance effect.
The perk is so situational.

Perk is bugged. I was the last survivor in the match and still opened the exit gate with normal speed

This. I played a Pig round earlier tonight against what had to be one of the most un-alltruistic teams I've ever gone against. Three survivors died on their 2nd hook, despite my being nowhere in the vicinity of the hooks at any point. For the 3rd survivor who died, I was literally standing still on the opposite side of the map waiting for a Feng to get a rescue, which they never did -- in fact, I had never really seen the Feng much during the match up until that point, other than the one time I hooked them after a 10 second chase, lol.
The hatch spawned near me, I closed it, headed for a door, and the Feng already had it open. In the endgame screen, I saw they had Sole Survivor, which I'm guessing is why I couldn't even land a hit before she was scurrying out the door. Also, I got monster teabags from the Feng as she was leaving for ... her letting all of her teammates die, I guess? So ... yay? Literally, this Feng was the epitomy of "worst teammate ever", played as selfishly as one could play, and they had the lack of awareness to be happy with it. Having a perk that rewards that type of player is literally terrible design.

I agree the perk seems useless. The proposed changes seem a bit strong though.
