idea to fix solo that don't buff swf
I posted this in another thread but don't said if good idea or not so
I think an easy fix to solo would be if your solo you get a 5th perk slot but only for solo and only for aura perks, but if your in a group of 2,3 or 4 the 5th slot is gray out can't use it
the 5th slot can only be use for aura perks and you can only pick one
so Bond Kindred or Empathy I think there are other aura perks but those are the 3 best I think
I'm sure most would use kindred for that slot
I don't know if the dev be able to pull that off but I feel it would work
what you guys think?

I guess it could work in theory but that still does not fix the core gameplay issues. You would basically just be slapping perks to fix the issues of the game which imo is not a valid solution. Someone should not need to run perks to fix camping and tunneling.
And no perk so far counters face camping Bubba lol. Unless the gate is open and you have OTR and Deliverance with a good team it is literal certain death unless the Bubba throws or is horrendous at the game.

Better than nothing. I'd use that slot for kindred or bond and then have a free one for a healing perk since I dont have space for one right now.

What about when I play with friends but don't use voice comms? How do I get my fifth perk slot then?

on the solo playing with friends with no chat I done it wouldn't need the 5th perk slot because I trust my friend know what they doing.
I'm mean times I play swf even with out chat feels broken.

I literally do.
I'm on console, not all my friends are on the same platform as me. Sometimes I find it too much of a faff to try and balance two pairs of headphones on my head and use one ear for game sounds and one ear for discord.

You are trying to fix the lack of coordination, and that's probably the right move. The devs are already busy doing that, albeit with additional information on the screen (I vaguely remember, it may change anyway).
Giving a fifth perk though would be quite OP. And, assuming groups of three are almost as strong as groups of four, what do you do for groups of two?

groups of two it be the same I feel 5th slot should only be for solo
additional information on screen would help too
like I said this just an idea don't know if the dev could pull it off anyways with out mess up the game more.

I don't know I play both side and killer a lot easier I mean on dude.
cool thing tho you'll know who was swf group at in of the game who ever not using the 5th slot you know they were swf,you just not know size of group.

I feel like a better solution balance wise is to just make one of the perks you'd run in this fifth slot basekit. Like Kindred, for example.

Yeah, I do it too sometimes. You get invited to play together with people you know and can plan stuff on the ingame chat. Not all "swf" use comms everytime.

They should make Kindred base kit for like 5-10s from the survivor being hooked

or how about...
a chat wheel and ping system
want it to be immersive still? Have the Survivors speak in their native language. Say a Survivor pings a generator, some where on the screen it would say (Yui, repairing Generator 50%). And if youre close enough you would hear Yui say in Japanese: "Repairing Generator here!"
SWF would barely have a use for this, Solo Q on the other hand would benefit from it greatly

I wouldn't have the Survivors actually speak, though. In the very least, the Killer shouldn't hear it. SWFs with comms don't give away their communication, SoloQ shouldn't either. Also, I don't know if the devs would be that thrilled for recording a bunch of voice lines. The rest is totally fine.
Also, when you said their native language, I thought you were going to say "And then then Survivor tbags/clicks a flashlight". Which you should have said. Because that's what it should be.

They could just make teammate aura from kindred base kit.

The voicelines part is simply to make it more immersive, its not required.
And I would still make it so killers could hear it but only if theyre really close, its not like SWF wouldnt use the ping system at all. Just look at Apex for example, even if youre in a premade youre gonna use it.
