What May Make Some Survivors Come Back
Before people come on the post saying "Survivors just need to git gud" or "Keep crying" go find the door, your input isn't welcome here.
Now on with the changes;
Survivor Nerfs
Revert the changes to self-care, and make the DS stun timer 5 seconds again. These are the main two things I see people take issue with because of the new update.
DS Change
I had a idea for a DS change that some people will like, some people with hate.
So the perk will deactivate when partaking in conspicuous actions, but hopping in a locker to force it will also deactivate the perk. But there's also some good changes.
Perk will stay as 5 second stun, will activate on both hooks, and a mori cannot be used when DS is active. I was going to say "pause the timer when slugged" but DS needed a counter, and that was the counter.
So instead, pause the DS timer while in chase AFTER being unhooked, if you are not in a chase 15 seconds after being unhooked the perk will deactivate making it a true anti-tunnel perk.
Solo-queue
Make kindred base-kit, but only show survivor auras within 48 meters of the hook. This can be useful to know when a teammate is going for hook.
Add little icons onto the survivor portraits when they're doing an action. Ex: Gears when on gen, plus sign when healing, image of running (like sprint burst) when running the killer, ect.
A small chat wheel like SOT, Overwatch, ect. saying things like; "I'm on a gen!", "Killer's near me!", ect.
Camping Situation
If the killer is within 16 meters of the hook for 5 seconds, the hook timer pauses. The hook timer will not pause under the following conditions:
- • A survivor is within 16 meters of the hook
- • The killer is in a chase with the survivor in a 16 meter radius of the hook
- • The survivor is attempting on hook/missing skill checks (this'll also help to discourage suiciding)
Conclusion
Little things can definitely make the solo-queue experience much better. I know some of these changes aren't perfect, that's why if anyone has other ideas, add on to my post please, because I guarantee the matchmaking incentives aren't going to help much in the end when it comes down to bringing people back.

I don't want them back. The ones that quit because they cant get their way are probably just toxic players anyway.

I respect your opinion, but some of the people who left were just people that wanted to have fun, and they got screwed over by this latest patch. It's especially prevalent within the solo survivor area. Solo-queue survivors were promised back in January that solo would be nerfed before killers got their buffs, but instead were lied to.
Yes killers needed buffs, but it shouldn't have been at the cost of some players being miserable.

Now nerfing MoM, a perk that was F tier and a meme perk after the last nerf (yes the nerf was deserved) but guess it needed nerfed again. But it really didn't.
