Mori despite Devour gone, is this a bug or cheat ?

So this guy playing Hag with 9k hours was running Devour - Undying - Hunted - Thrill, they get us exposed and we cleansed both Devour & Undying, now non of us were exposed but to our surprise the Hag started Mori-ng 2 survivors that were 1 hook stage even though Devour+Undying were gone and we were NOT exposed anymore.
I asked the guy what was happening on their end, post-chat and their steam profile but the guy is completely ignoring. Is there a known infinite Devour bug or we faced a cheater ?

not a hack, a bug, i experienced it myself playing killer.
