Are people underestimating new MoM?
I just played 2 games right now and I actually managed to get a survivor and myself out with the killer camping in the endgame.
As long as you get 1 stack of MoM mid-game, it is insanely strong in the end. That is as Long it isn’t a Bubba.
Put it on with BT and you and the unhooked survivor are guaranteed to escape. Its kinda like Old old BT, where both survivors gain endurance.
You also don’t have to worry about the aura reading because the killer is on your ass in the end anyways.

You have to decide between running DH, OTR or MoM and with how buggy protection hits can be, I can't see many running MoM.

what bugs are we talking about, running all 3 seems fine to me?

I mean that the game doesn't always award a protection hit at the right times. Sometimes you can be standing near an injured survivor, get hit, and only get the 'Distraction' event instead. Or you can get hit nowhere near another survivor and get 'Protection'.

Both the time it activates and the time it works is generally the time you are near the killers, it wouldn't be that much of a nerf in "usual" situation it will be used for sure.

The only way to get a 100% confirmed protection hit at this point is being hit when someone is being carried

Which is great if you can stop the killer getting the hook. But if you're just giving the killer a free hit then that defeats the point of the perk.

I think they are.
It's actually a pretty decent anti-tunnel perk you can equip for your teammates now.
Nothing Meta defining or anything cause it doesn't really work against all killers but definitely better then the meme tier it was before. Needing to heal up only once instead of twice really loses the whole "need to throw the game to activate it"
I'll be honest people who think this was a nerf are kinda tripping

It'll have its place im sure when the theory crafting comes into play, however I think most of the underestimating of MoM came from how random of a change it was before anything else.

Why running MoM when you can just run DH? Both just doesnt work.
