We have temporarily disabled Firecrackers and the Flashbang Perk due to a bug which could cause the Killer's game to crash. These will be re-enabled in an upcoming patch when the issue is resolved.

Please Consider Reverting Mettle of Man

Ash is my favorite survivor, he is the first one that I ever leveled and pretty much the only one I play besides Ace. I have had Mettle of Man on since I started playing and it has always been a very reliable way to help my teammates all escape.

I never got to experience the original Mettle way back at launch, but nerfed protection hit Mettle has been niche, good in the right hands, and powerful when it procs. It is pretty much everything a perk should be.

This rework doesn't even make sense. You can't even use it without going down unless you find someone to heal you since healing yourself would deactivate it. You can't use it to safely unhook someone because unhooking deactivates it, you can't sabbo and take hits since that will deactivate it. You can't even use it with Inner Strength unless you have it before hand, since cleansing a totem after would deactivate it. What is the perk for now? What does it offer you versus anything else that gives you endurance? Why not just use new Dead Hard and not piss around taking hits and actually be able to work on gens? Everything done to the perk just made it less unique, it was already not great, just leave it alone. What was the point in nerfing DS and buffing OTR just to make Mettle a worse version of both, they filled different roles entirely.

At this point just make it a perk that gives BT to the unhooker or something. But I would rather you just change it back, let us keep our funny protection hit perk, it doesn't have to be like everything else.

EDIT: Even if you want to make Mettle proc something other than Endurance but have the same outcome, that would be cool too, call it Invincible or something, have the survivor glow a different color when they get hit.

That way it wouldn't be confusing to learn the versions of Endurance because it could be listed as an entirely unique effect.
