Can we talk about the shrine of secrets?
It's complete ass.
Not only do you have to pay 6k shards to get ONE perk to a useable level, the bp you could get from buying perks you already have was reduced to 100k. Like why?

Not happy about the reduction, although I don't know how it will affect overall progress when capping out characters after a new DLC. In the old system, I can cap out within 2 months. As long as everything can be done quicker, then it's better for me-- and it's looking that way. Time will tell.

Isn't the only difference between the old version and the new version is you get the option to upgrade one you already had instead of cashing in for bp (and now you are guaranteed to have tier 1)? It was 2k and randomly appearing in your bloodweb originally where you'd have to level it up through multiple bloodwebs. The new system is still 2k but you are guaranteed tier 1 and have to randomly find it in the blood web. The only differences are if you have the currency to spare, you can upgrade the tiers for all characters, as well as being guarantees to have the lowest tier you own.
In general, it's all upgraded over the original. We aren't losing anything with the change except for bp purchases...but frankly that's a waste of shards anyway.

You realize you can just upgrade it in the individual bloodwebs instead of with shards in the shrine right

No I actually did not.
Even with it working like that though it still blows for people who would use the shrine to purchase bp. The amount you get was unnecessarily reduced AND perks that you had unlocked as teachables before the update will not even be purchasable for bp anymore if the character was not raised to at least p3 when the update hit. So now if I even want the option to do that for certain perks then I have to prestige their respective characters to 3 even though I already had their perks unlocked before the update.

It's fine if you have a main survivor or killer, you'll be able to just tier up via the bloodweb. Might take more time on characters you don't use often
