Map offerings shouldn’t be a thing.
The game’s map design is too unbalanced that these things wouldn’t be used without some major issues, they can just give one side just too big of an advantage you know it and have seen it, the SWF who burns the Pied Piper with the best meta perks maybe balanced due to the drops and such giving a pre game advantage, or the Sweaty Nurse who burns Mary’s Letter with Lethal and Starstruck with Omega Blink. Map offerings simply gives one side too big an advantage and causes too many problems. They should be removed until maps are balanced more properly and it’ll have huge benefits in grind reduction, bully squads and super SWFs loosing won’t have map advantage and same with sweaty Nurses and Blights for example.

I don't know. I almost never use map offerings because I like it being random, but sometimes when you've been sent to maps you dislike strongly several times in the evening, it's nice to be able to decide where to go, without it being a very strategic plan.
Maybe if there was a seperate game mode for very high mmr where people do this kind of strat, map offerings could be banned, but for casual players I feel like most times it just amounts to avoiding Midwich for a while.

Map offerings give me a chance to not be sent to the same map multiple times in a row and when there is a "fall from great height challenge" they give me a chance to go to a map that is guaranteed to have a great height. They can get rid of map offerings when they put in mechanic to prevent players from going to the realm in back to back matches and add a great height to every map.

With how long killer queues are taking now, every time I end up going against a swf with RPD map offering and it's a maze with endless god pallets.. Toxic squads love that offering.

Whenever I see a map offering in my game I just roll my eyes. Its always lerys, midwich, autohaven or deaddog. Sometimes an RPD for someone memeing. I would agree it gives that particular side an advantage though. Can't deny on either side my build would 100% change depending on what map I'm going. Someone predetermined knowing that just gives everyone else a lil slack I guess.
Honestly I'm more annoyed at how many of them are in my bloodweb instead of actual items considering I dont use them.

Map offerings are strong because you can plan builds around it especially as a killer. I like the idea of being able to play a map you like and having it synergize with your builds, but this ends up being a free win a lot of times. I think map offerings shouldn't be guaranteed, it should be max 50% chance to prevent SWFs from stacking them.

Yes Map offerings should be removed i always inarsnt quit when i See Map offering
There is a reason Why Survivor always use Ormond, The Game , Haddonfield, Artist Map, Huntress Map, RDP Offerings becasue they know they are unbalanced 4 Killers

Maybe they should be replaced with common and uncommon offerings, which will give you less chance than the rare one to go to those maps.
The possibility will be there, but not guaranteed.

Map offerings are the only things that make stealth killers, especially Mirror Myers, viable.
Frankly, I think maps should be a part of the killers build, not something the survivors can choose for their advantage. This is after all the entity's realm.
So I think survivor map offerings should be uncommon (yellow) offerings that give you a 25% chance of going to a certain map. So if survivors really want to guarantee it, they should bring all four.
I'd also rather map offerings were hidden rather than removed. Most of the 'gripes' people have with map offerings are knowing that they've been sent there, yet when they get the very same maps through pure luck, they don't care. So if you just didn't know, there wouldn't be a problem.

I mean MMR doesn’t mean much tbh. I could run Sole Survivor, Wake Up, and Left Behind with hatch offering every match. I could hide the entire game until my team dies then escape through gates or hatch. That would raise my MMR yet it is most definitely not skillful. BHVR needs to fix MMR before they try to implement it into anything else.

Agreed, or at least let us melt down 3 of them to get a random offering that's not a map offering.

Not the worst idea in theory but this would just widen the gap between solo and swf. The problem isn't when solo players bring a map offering, it's when swf do.
In my eyes, either everyone should be able to bring a map offering or nobody should. Hiding the offerings is a good idea though, for sure.

I personally am in love with the idea of "anti-map" offerings. Don't want to go to Giddeon's for the third time today? Burn a Jigsaw piece, and it's impossible to roll that map now.
