Does the speedbost from being hit not work anymore in Endgame?

Or just generally when u do one of those conspicuous things? It's happened to me multiple times since the killer buffs that if I get hit as a survivor I just don't get a speed boost at all.
I think it happened even outside doing those specific actions but I am not sure what is causing it. Has anyone else encountered this or am I delusional somehow.
Like just last match I got hit(once I was 99% on the rescue animation) and I ended up running at the same speed as the rescued survivor (they didn't have any perks like SB)
