I dont physically have a copy, but I played roughly the beginning of the game with some friends and stuff, I enjoyed it, but my opinion really isnt worth much since I didnt experience a majority of what the game has to offer.

It's a ok game. I love the Fallout games, but New Vegas didn't really stick with me like the others did. The desert setting just didn't really appeal to me, but other than that the game was ok.

I actually like how your choices impact the game and your character, though. It makes it worth playing and creates a lot of replayability and a memorable experience.

It had some amazing dlc packs! I don't think any of them were duff ones and each had different atmospheres and felt like entirely separate games, from the outrageous comedy of "Old World Blues", to the pilgrimage of "Lonesome Road", each stood out so well.

Great game, lot of fun, and so much to do. I personally prefer FO3 and love the DC metro area setting. However, there is something cool about the Mojave, even if the strip itself was a super letdown.

new vegas was great. I wasnt keen on the idea when it launched, because it seemed too similar to F3. However, I thought NV did a lot of things better than 3. However, despite my extremely opinionated opinion that NV is the best in the series(and 4 is trash), it can't be denied that the Mojave wasn't a very interesting map to explore. FO3 nailed it in the exploration department.

However, I always have to asterisk New Vegas whenever I praise it because it's extremely flawed. On launch it was straight up unplayable. However, my strong feelings for it come in spite of all that. Not that this is really new for any fans of Obsidian, haha. I recently got into KOTOR 2 a couple years back and that game seemed to have the exact same issues as New Vegas, I actually couldn't help but chuckle.

It's a shame though that the gunplay sucks in NV. Anybody who started the series with FO4 will definitely find it hard to go back. At least in FO3 Bethesda knew that their gunplay sucked so they compensated with the overpowered VATS, which Obsidian nerfed in NV.

My favorite DLC in NV is Dead Money, although I know I'm in the minority there haha.

I really wish we got to see more of the Legion, they were woefully underrepresented. What little content they did have, was great. Would have liked to see a bit of their territory and see a town under normal Legion rule in Arizona.

One of my favorite builds was an Irradiated melee/unarmed specialist. Nothing stood a chance, and I could tank all small-arms fire because I regenerated HP faster than I could take lmao. Then if I popped some irradiated food I could zip up to NCR squads and gut them with a Deathclaw Gauntlet for a megacrit, all while cruising in the Courier Duster.

Fun fact, in the slideshow that plays at the end of your playthrough, your character is actually just standing still in a room, and a dude in a legion outfit named Testacles the Debug Centurion is standing behind the pictures narrating :)

Its a good game. Even without mods.

They really messed up the dialog/quests in f4 compared to NV.They need to bring back those differently approachable quests. Just compare concord to goodsprings.

Cant wait for F4NV or project Mohave tho.
